The easiest tutorial one can need. I literally searched the whole UA-cam every other tutorials were kind of complicated for me but this one seems easy to understand Can’t wait to make mine ❤
The hardest thing was to learn from right handers and then convert every video I have watched lol. I ran into one left handed video and got so backwards without realizing it why it seemed so odd. Thank you within less than an hour I had a pair of lovely mittens
Thank you for taking your time to make this video. I am brand new to crochet (my new pandemic hobby) and have relied solely on UA-cam videos to learn. Your pattern was simple to follow and my finished product looks great. I highly recommend this for beginners!
Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial! It was easy to me and I'm not an expert.... this took time and effort for you to put together and most everyone appreciates this so very much! Thanks again!
Nice style :) Personally i've added a hole at the base of the thumb to be able to take it out if needed. I just added a chain of 5 there before working the rows of the thumb. I mention it so it might be useful to someone else :)
Thanks for the cute pattern! I made these with striped yarn and they turned out nicely. My suggestion would be to measure the finger length of whoever you are making the gloves for, to ensure that the finger flap doesn't turn out too long or too short. It was slightly too long for my fingers. This was a great video though, super clear!
I love your videos. I’m a beginner and I learned a lot from your videos. One way to make it better would be to show which hole you put hook into at the beginning of each step. That would help so much. For example, 2 sc ch in next chain. ❤
i LOVE this tutorial!! i'd been searching for days for an easy to understand tutorial, and yours is great! you explained every step and it was easy to follow! thank you so much

I've been searching for one like this because one of my fans asked me for a crochet version of my knitted glommit. This is an excellent video and is a nice crochet option for those who don't know how or are still trying to learn how to knit. I hope this helps you Una Familia en New York. ;)
Very nice. This pair would fit me but not my sister...she has huge hands. I’ll try to we’ll..what am I saying I cant fix the numbers to fit her. Back to the drawing board. You gave me good basic idea so I’m thankful to you. Be well.😊👍
I love how the mittens turned out in the video, but how would I make them bigger? I'm using wool, so naturally, I had to make the mitten bigger anyway... starting with making the circumstance bigger (36 stitches instead of 30 wide) and using a 5mm hook. However it then messes up the rest of the pattern for me. I tried to work my way around it, and it's definitely not perfect. The one mitten I made does fit me, but is very snug in the thumb section. I have skinnier wrist, and not the biggest hands. I still need them bigger as I'm hoping to make them for family for Christmas, who would need bigger mittens. Men's hands would be even larger too... I should also mention that the cuff size works good for me, but then the part that my hand rest in is a bit too big and the thumb snug. Any tips?
This video makes perfect sense, i’m watching and i’m listening. I NEVER struggle, but for some reason when you say you have 26 stitches, i have like 40! 😣 idk what i am doing wrong, Or where im adding in so many extra stitches!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. Some are very hard to understand but yours are easy to understand. I've made my glove and it looks awesome thanks to you!!! :-) Happy New Year!!
This is such an amazing, easy tutorial to follow thank you! If I increase the number of rows in the cuff, how will that affect the number of stitches in the glove?
Hi, in the first round you have 30 stitches, right? It means you have 6 times 5 stitches (6X5). In 2nd round you should have 36 stitches, it means 6 times 6 stitches (6X6), because you are making one increase in every 5 stitches from the previous row (4 sc + 2 sc in one sc) X 6 times = 36. It's very easy if you use a stitch marker. Just mark the first stitch at the beginning of each round. sc in 4 sc and make 2 sc in next stitch around until you reach stitch marker and you will have 36 stitches. Good luck!
What name is this yarn it looks soft I worry about what yarn to use so it doesn't look so stiff and bulky I definitely want a yarn that soft and stretchy
What happens if I'm a bit off on the numbers I think I may have made a few extra rows by accident when building the wrist and now my numbers are all off
Ani Tugushi Ani Tugushi my life motto. i’m only 3 minutes into the video but everyone in the comments is right. excellent quality love your work so far
Did anyone have issues with them being slightly loose on the hand but snug on the wrist or sliding up alot . I used the same size hook and 4 weight yarn .not sure where I went wrong .any advice
How do I measure circumference of a hand as it's hoping to be a friends birthday gift I know basics so think past beginners on to novice stage novice stage
No matter how many cuff rows I do the mitten looks too small, I have a very wide wrist and even with 70 rows it still is to small. The thumb is very confusing because going back on itself doesn't work, I just can't get on with the pattern I need a written version
I'm sorry that is impossible. My grandfather has giant hand with a size 22 ring and it only took 42 rows to do his. For a standard sized had it averages out to 33-34 rows. You need to be using a 4mm hook and MEDIUM worsted weight yarn. The only way 70 rows could possibly be too small is if you are using tiny baby yarn and a MUCH smaller hook, closer to a 1mm. You absolutely MUST be using the correct size hook and yarn for ANY pattern to work
This is ok but when I went to order the pdf the price was in £GBP but then when I was about to pay I noticed that the amount was in $USD please can you tell me how to stop it from converting as I get charged by my bank for the privilege of someone converting and I don't want to be charged
Price is in USD, change settings in your Etsy account. Go to Settings > Select Currency. (For the Etsy for iOS app, the currency you see on the app matches the Region of your device. To change your currency, go to Settings > General > Language & Region on your device.).
These patterns don't actually work, I'm an experienced crocheter and had also got several different people to do the patterns and basically I can't actually complete the pattern
Wow! I'm not an expert but completed it with ease.... this lady did a wonderful job of putting step by step instructions on the top of each round and also demonstrated each round as she went. I thought it was awesome! If people complain each time someone graciously gives us their time to teach others how to crochet, they'll stop teaching! I could only find 2 videos on convertable mittens....2! And her's was by far the easiest to follow.
sorry but you may have to try another hobby. You can't get much easier or better explained than this tutorial. Have made dozens of pairs with this pattern

So happy to see someone else mark the beginning of every row! Gotta get busy and make these.

Awesome convertible mitts.
Very easy to understand.i have made these in two colors and it really looks awesome 👍

You could maybe try a bigger hook size for your sisters gloves. Instead of a 4mm, use a 5mm or even a 5.5mm. Hope this helps!
You are the best for a tutorial. Enjoyed making these.
Wow! Thank you for your video help me understand it better the concept 💐💐💐
Love this. I'm a beginner and video so easy to understand... guess whose gonna have some new mittens!!
This is great. Perfect format for this kind of tutorial.

Great video however how many rows are there from cuff to thumb. Thanks!
8 rounds (you can measure your hand and add rounds if needed)
Great video. I cannot wait to make these today! Thank you!
Great tutorial, very easy to follow and quick to make..
what do you do when you had to increase the rounds for the wrist to 38
Wow! Beautiful ❤️
Is it possible to adjust this to the size of my hands?😢
the video is great! but i wanted to get the written pattern but the link took me to a blank page :(
Can u pl put the written pattern also
She has it check in the description
Thank you so much for this tutorial!! you are awesome!
There are no instructions & count for making the children's gloves.
Has anyone done that yet?
No matter how much I try i can't get or see how you got 36 scs in the second round.
Good luck!

Row 11 you have 9 stitches. If you decrease 3 times , you’re using the next 6 stitches. What about the last 3 stitches of the previous 9?
