I am by no means a "newbie", and for the life of me, I could not find the instructions for completing the top portion of the mittens. It was not demonstrated nor clear in the written pattern. I had to stop and be content with fingerless mittens which was not my original intention. What am I missing?!

Love this, and watching videos 1, 2 and 3 before I try to do this. I’ve never crocheted mittens before and a bit apprehensive. Also, love the hook you are using. Does it help your hand from being tight or hurting? What’s it called and where can I purchase one, please?

Can someone help me understand somthing from the pattern sheet. What does she mean by “work 8th row of chart, noting 4 gusset sts in A” ( what does she mean by that? Im sort of a beginner in crochet)
Hi Marly. 2 questions. 1. When you are working in the foundation chain at the beginning are you working through 1 or 2 loops? Secondly, when you slip stitch to join are you slipping in one loop of the foundation row or 2 loops? Thanks.
