Hi, my Hikvision DVR shows up on Hik-Connect app on my phone via internet. However, it does not work on my LAN. Doesn't show up on connected devices on my router either. Any idea why that is?

Sadaf Jameel u just need to assign the ip address of the dvr which Is n d range of wifi routers ip address, for ex,if ur router address starts like 192.168.1.xx then your dvr address also should b like 192.168.1.xy. dvr gate way address should be ur routers ip address.

I have no idea what to do since the DVR remote does not work as well as DVR mouse. I did change the VGA cable and turned the off everything by unplugging and connecting them back but still didn't work.
i used p2p for mobile configuration but it doesnt view remotely via an external network it just says failed to load but when iam on the same network it streams.what might be the problem?

stop major problem- when ethernet cable - connected to lan on the router -no light flashinfg on router or dvr- have 4 camras- 2 bullet 2-dome- have hickvision 4 ch dvr , monitor hp- 19 inches lcd. camera displayed on monitor ... but as it appears net not connecting so cannot view cctv on android mobile.

It's a resolution issue... Kindly connect in any other Tv with HDMI cable and change the resolution to lesser and connect back you will get display
