Ah so good to hear it was helpful and I can understand you fully ! Lots of possibilities but very simple to get a killer fuzz sound and the amp settings do matter like the low overdriven amp . Enjoy man !!
Oh that is too bad to hear my friend...the pedal is very very good so it is very important to take care of a good basic clean -> edge of breakup tone from your amp and then use the pedal to drive it upwards....What Amp do you use and gear ?

How can I master Myriad fuzz?

Get in love with your guitars volume knob........ for me the magic is in backing off on my guitar volume
