- So far so good, started off ruff but I know these are going to be great cars. Made a few adjustment that got me in the ball park, just need more track time but so looking forward to next nitro season!!!! Thank you scope cr33p rc raceway for the test & tune day...

The rear is notoriously "loose" there are a few things you can do to mitigate this... I use the 42/12 underdrive gears in the rear. It helps alot. There are alot of other tips and tricks, but for me the under drive is a necessity! Great video man!
I changed all the diff oils it made corner exit way better.
Front diff has the thickest oil 10k.
Center diff has thinnest oil 4k.
Rear has medium oil 6k.
It helped the rear end from stepping out while accelerating on the corner exit, it also made the front turn in better too when it was off throttle..
We made warmup rack, back in the day. 4 metal roller inside a frame. Strap in the back , and let them roll. You could center your steering and check your brakes, and tune your carb all on the table in front of you.

Camber I set at -3, rear pills, I changed to down and out, rear shock fluid changed to 450, that planted the rear but took some steering away to help with that I change my front toe out to 2 degrees out. That did the trick for me

Your lap times next season will be alot faster now. Mugen teckno both jump and handle alot better than any platform out there. Your flat jump will save you tenths and put you on the podium brother.

One last question. Is that protek Samurai 21 motor any good for a Truggy. Haven’t seen any video on it yet. I have the fx k301,k302 and k501. Just wanna know is it worth purchasing or should I go in another direction?
Sweet fx collection, the samurai is a great 3 port engine, I'm sure it will do good in a truggy but remeber truggies are a little bit heavier, I would do at least a 5 port and up for a truggy

Rajas111 I’m looking to get a Mugen MXB8 Worlds Edition or the TLR 8x Elite when I can find a kit. How you liking the Mugen and would you get Mugen if you were picking between those two?
I like the mugen’s a lot don’t know how the 8x elite is but some like it some don’t, I think it’s all personal preference, but I will say the mugen’s are a proven platform

Flat with 8 holes, 550 in the front and 450 in the rear

Just to add for thos viewers, my tracks typically are bumpy and slick so the valves make a huge difference on those tracks... FYI car is still easy to drive and responsive.
That's something new ive never seen with that camber and toe gauge don't see many use it for offroad I always set with the wheels on

Yeah I have a brand new mbx7t never ran new in a box. Is the mbx8t a much better car in your perspective or kinda the same.
I never ran the 7 but I have ran the ae rc8b3 which is similar to the 7, I like the 8 because its a lot easier to setup for different tracks then the ae was, parts are a little bit more but they are really tuff cars

That’s a tuff one, both kits are good kits and you will not go wrong with either, the 8ight x is a newer kit if you want the latest and greatest.

Bones is the shit. I have tried Byron's as well they are both good fuels. But the bones runs cooler and is a little better and cheaper in my opinion

Hey with droop get the Mugen droop gauge stick to adjust it so much easier and constant compared to calipers I know I use to use them.

Hey buddy keep I eye for a post about the nitro shoot out at Loganville RC track they may call it off because they are calling for rain Friday and they say the track will be too wet to dry off so just wanted you to know before you made plans and headed down there and you get there in the race is called off and made that drive you may want to check the website or the Facebook page at Loganville RC complex before you head out just to make sure the race is still on if not they are moving it till next Saturday the 23rd hope you can make that one
