You guys are lovely and the single most respectful content creators out there. I’m very glad you all shared your experience and didn’t let the grumpy travelers distract from your day! ❤
Hi Dee and Jay. Lovely trail. Don't let other's take away from your experience.. if I'm doing something like that and you can pass me and go faster, God Bless you. Maybe the trail was more difficult for them than they thought. There is no need to be rude to other's. Always be kind. All the food at dinner looked really good. Dee, I love cauliflower steak. I make them at home about 3-4 time's a month. Thank you for taking us along ❤❤
Hey Jay & Dee You guys are awesome, genuine, wonderful people. The heck with the Grumps!! Sorry you had to deal with that negatively. Thanks for all you do bringing us along with you on your adventures. Keep up the Great work!! Cheers😂🎉😂
Did you get the recipe for the cauliflower steak? If so, I'd love if you'd share! I sure hope they offer this on our HAL cruise in 2024. I love cauliflower.
I would love to have you lead the group! Have you run into the negative Nancy’s on the ship? Is that the same chocolatier in the Belagio hotel in Las Vegas?
Our next series will be MSC out of Florida with our friends. We’re currently on a river cruise in Netherlands and Belgium right now, and headed to Lisbon next for a transatlantic on Norwegian!! :D
Were Sid and Nancy fellow cruisers or were they just at the trail? It's so much easier to be kind. I love your videos and I'm so glad you included that experience in this one. You handled it with style, as anyone who "knows you" would expect. Love yall❤❤❤
Nothing excuses their fellow hikers' rude comments. That said, I kinda felt their pain watching this video. The Butze nature walk would be right up my alley, and all I could think watching this was how completely annoyed I'd be to be stuck in a tour group with a UA-camr not just filming content, but narrating and cracking jokes the whole time I'm trying to quietly enjoy nature and its splendor. I say that as someone who adores Jay and Dee's channel. It definitely made me realize that I won't be doing group hiking tour excursions in the future. My perfect nature hike may look very different than, say, Jay's, and that's okay. There should be room for all types of people to have a good experience. For me, that will be a solo hike where I am not tied to a group.
OK there is a 60,000+ person strong ParoManiac "army" if you need us to demonstrate kindness vs. tearing folks down! Seriously, I have seen a few negative folks in my day, folks who I thought were friends much less strangers (I was an overweight chick in Paris and it was tough) so.... we love y'all! Just know that! Y'all can bring the happy to a cloudy day every time! Thanks for being Dee and Jay!!
Jay,I'm amazed you didn't say anything about "CRYING WOLF"when the guide said about the stray wolf's, that venture away from the pack. ❤ the Forrest nature walk, feels like we are there with you.👋💕🇦🇺
I haven’t been to Alaska yet so I’m just going to assume Dee’s reenactment of a whale breaching at 4:15, especially the sound effects, are 100% accurate! 😂🤪 I kind of hope those grumpy-pusses see this video! 🤦🏻♂️
We didn’t walk as much as yall before we took this hike and it really challenged us. It’s worth it but can be strenuous. The one in Wrangell is also challenging but also worth it.
I'm struggling to understand the concept of a rain forest in a cold climate. This is the second or third vlog where you've alluded to being in a rain forest while in Alaska. I thought rain forests had to be wet and humid like Brazil?
Google Alaska rainforest and a pdf from Alaska Fish and Game comes up. The map may surprise you. It’s from Northern California up towards Skagway area.
There are different types of rainforests. Alaska has a temperate rainforest. You are thinking of tropical rainforests. I live in Victoria, BC where we have a Mediterranean type climate but I can drive for a couple of hours into the coastal temperate rain forests on the west coast of the island.
The Tongass in Alaska/BC is actually the world's largest temperate rain forest. I was surprised to learn that Juneau actually gets relatively little snow and average temperatures are 20F-85F.
There have been several times that something Jay says will make me bust out laughing (“Good luck, Duck!”), and he did it again. “OH MY GOSH I’M SURPRISED BY CHOCOLATE!” 🤣🤣🤣 I’m sitting at Sonic with the windows down, and I’m sure the people around me think I’ve lost my mind. 🤣🤣🤣

Lovely trail, it's a shame that there's always someone trying to spoil everyone else's fun, just ignore them.
i just wanted to let you know that i truly enjoy your videos. keep them comings thank you

Awesome music - Devo, B-52, and The Darkness yesterday? Amazing!
So sad some people have to be rude… go leader Dee!!😊
Would love you to slow down and show us more of the scenery.
You two are hilarious 😂😂

I loved Prince Rupert. I'm not a hiker though so I really enjoyed the Museum of the North.
Jay and Dee, I look forward to each one of your videos. To those Debbie Downers and Negative Nellies, you should have told them to “Go Take a Hike!” 😂

Looks like the nature from that twilight movie with the vampires! Beautiful!
Was this your favorite Alaskan cruise?
We loved having SO many new ports, but I don’t know that we’d declare HAL the ultimate Alaska winner just yet, ha ha!! :P

We would be happy to have super nice folk like you around us 😎
Yummy chocolate. Looked really good.
New camera? Soooooo pretty!
I want that crab.

Still watching this series and weird to see this ship is now sailing of the coast here in Sydney Australia for our cruise season
