- This is part 3 of our new 4000 gallon Quarantine pond. The Koi will be pretty happy in this pond. The building is finished...the insulation is on and the outside has been rendered. Progress has been very fast.

hi Tim do u recommend 1.1/2'' return or 2'' return on a 3000 gallon pond planing on putting two returns in
1.5” will be fine

hi, are you gluing the kingspan to the walls, or dot & dabbing it etc, what are you using to do stick it ? what thickness kingspan should people use . cheers
AUDI do THAT we stuck it will screws. It’s 1” Kingspan.

Mark Jones we get them custom made. They fit perfectly over the width of a block. Check out the earlier parts of this build

Holyshit!! That kingspan is amazing! What kind of colour are you gonna choose? Green like japan ponds? I must say that this serie of videos are really entertaining and learning to watch.

Why is the base not insulated?
Never liked doing the base mate. I’ve found in the past it’s harder to fibreglass onto kingspan. I think the thickness of concrete on the base does a similar job.

Yeah that would be fine. But if the walls are done etc I think you will be good.
