    hi dear thanks for your perfect explain , my question : Paint leaks from the adjustment part of the product. What should i do ? thanks for help.

      Hi, if it leaks from the twisty dial at the back. You probably need the repair kit. Or a new cleanshot valve. The rubber O ring may be broken inside. Unless you can replace that.
      If it leaks on the swivel area, sometimes its when its not connected tight on the pole. Needs to be nipped up with a spanner not hand tighg

      @@sprayaholic seems like the pattern always gets heavy in in the center, like a stream I can visibly see... I'm also typically using HEA titan tips st about 1000 psi, (valve open, just using angle swivel) so maybe that's part of the issue? When I removed the cleanshot the other day I had way better preasure and could hear the spray itself sound healthier if that makes sense. I haven't ever taken it apart tho so I bet its dirty inside!

      I also am never sure what my pressure at gun is because I dont have a second pressure gauge, and I run off an 13 year old 440 that I've repacked a few times. It still is the backbone of my business tho lol. I want a new sprayer but cant decide. Thinking maybe that x19 fine finish graco since I seem to be always doing cabinets doors and trim

      Spray wd40 on the regulator ievery time you clean it and you will never have that problem again, even if you leave it in water

    I’m getting one of these for a large ceiling I’m doing in a couple of weeks lots of stop starts because of furniture.could you please explain how to set it up and dial it in

    • @sprayaholic
      @sprayaholic  4 роки тому

      Awesome. Great accessory to have.
      Set your pressure around what youd normally be on. It might be a little higher adding an extension and cleanshot. Start with the cleanshot dial wound all the way out in flush. Then keep testing the fan. Dial it in until now spits, small turns each time and test the fan just by pulling the trigger 1 second to see the shape.
      If you still have spit and its wound all the way in the increase your pressure.
      It the sprayer stops spraying mid spray its because youve released the trigger when the machine is turning over on its lower pressure. So neither slightly increase machine pressure or if you can, turn dial in flush and it should release again

      @@paulmorgan1636 when the dial is wound out. Its in clean mode and allows material through at low pressure. For the cleanshot to work it needs more pressure and dialing it in shuts the valve off to stop the paint. So each time you use it. It may be slightly different

      Which part do you mean? The plastic O ring that sits in the back of the cleanshot and tightens against the gun. Or the small o ring inside the cleanshot

    Hi buddy I wonder if you can help my clean shot I’ve only used about a dozen times and for some reason it won’t shut off and more even when the dial is a turned all the way clockwise it’s an absolute mystery to me

    • @sprayaholic
      @sprayaholic  4 роки тому +1

      Hey. What tips are you using with it? When its wound all the way out its in flush. You get to a pressure you usually get to the start dialling the dial in. If youre still spitting and its wound all the way in. You need to increase your pressure .
      If its to use with fflp or lp tips you'll probably find it doesnt need to be wound it that much.
      Cleanshot was made before the low pressure tips came out so its made to work under higher pressure

    • @sprayaholic
      @sprayaholic  4 роки тому

      Or do you mean its squirting out after trigger release? If so somethings stopping it from seating and its dirt.

      @@sprayaholic I’m thinking my set up is wrong I have it in flush no tip no Guard then set pressure to 1500 paint flows out fine then I add tip and guard 5.17 I dail it in hoping for the paint to stop coming through so I can dail it back again to try to find the sweet spot but paint carries on flowing though all the way even when it’s completely shut down am I missing something

    • @sprayaholic
      @sprayaholic  4 роки тому

      @@MEVD2011 sounds like its not shutting the valve off. Have you tried your gun with just guard and tip on and see if it does it with the gun?
      You could run some hot soapy water through it and let it soak in the gun and cleanshot. See if it dislodges anything.
      Cleanshot could be covered in paint like mine, if you dont flush it through enough it holds build up quite well inside. You normally tell as the dial is hard to twist.
