If your TV has HDMI ARC identify which hdmi port is arc on your TV then use that slot for the sony player. Plug in your USB to TV and select TV output on your remote for the Sony player and it will work.
I bought this yesterday, the subwoofer sounds so under-thumped. Even my woofer of iball 2.1 pc speaker sounds more powerful. Any setting need to be done? I mean for 800$ (50k Indian rupees) the sound it producing is very underwhelming.
auto calibrate is shit (poo in your language) go to speaker settings and turn the subwoofer up to 6+ and speakers to your desire. if you are talking about music being no bass click sound field to digital music and assuming you have followed my instructions the subwoofer with kick down the building

Subwoofer lvl set at 0.0[dB]. Volume at 17 is already blast.. sadly now can't read Blu-ray disc only dvd or cd only.. send to Sony center n technical say this model out of spare parts.. one more thing about this new device. Can't play blu ray movie from Sony pictures.. after 20 minutes t cinavia message appears at main screen n mute.. damm.
That unit for the two rear speakers, what if you don't have power sockets on the other side of the room? (Or no wish to stretch an extension lead across the room.) If there is nothing that can be done about this, can anyone suggest an alternative without a unit like that?

It is not a 4k UHD player,it is only upscale from 1080p disc to near 2160p but not totally 4k.
The unit doesn't even support Dolby Atmos/DTS:X.
