It looks very flat over there.. I wondered why you guys hadnt put a video up for a while. Crack on chaps. Brits abroad an all that. Keep your wing man close.
Yes, it was exceptionally flat in a lot of places. It was quite a contrast to the kind of thing we were use to in Yorkshire. To be fair, we are a bit spoilt in terms of interesting areas to ride over here. Although the quality of the actual roads/surface was very good in France. We're sorry we haven't posted any video in a while, but yeah, it has been a very involved task, preparing for and embarking upon, this trip. Hopefully will get back into the swing of things. Any recent or planned adventures for yourself?
@@MechitBetter Me and my friends recently came back from the TT. Great place, but we're all in our 60s now so it maybe our last major ride out together. Weve ridden together since we were 17, so its been a while, lol. We talk more about our ailments nowadays 😂we all started out on fs1e's when we were 16 but we ride triumph 800 tigers and I ride a tdm 900 now. ( bad backs etc) but its great to watch your videos , and very useful too ( got the suzuki address too, for knocking about on.) We'll see how fit we are next year for riding. We're all talking about something a bit smaller to ride, so im after something upto a 600 but i want aircooled and easy to work on. Haha, probably an old cb 550 or somat.anyway good on you chaps. Carry on.
The Suzuki Address would make an interesting touring machine if you can convince your friends to get a small bike too. Take a look at the ‘Great Fun on Small Bikes’ group on Facebook for inspiration. There are loads of erm.... ‘mature’ riders downsizing and having a whale of a time! I’ve just written a piece about it for O2W magazine. It’s the first in a series to be featured soon, then monthly we’ll look at a guest rider and their small bike. Should be fun 👍 facebook.com/groups/369770523573822/?ref=share
