- If you enjoyed this format of video please let me know because I'm thinking of doing more. Or even different ones where I start with nothing/no professions and try to see what I can get to within a week with a specific profession alone.
Also if you're interested in seeing me try this with a different profession let me know which one and I'll look into it.
I am on US Realms.

"start with nothing/no professions and try to see what I can get to within a week with a specific profession alone." love the idea of this
Lob a profession anything but Inscription I'll look into it. I'm up for trying. It definitely won't go aswell as this vid though lol, already had a full build for this.
"Started with nothing except a small loan of half a million and a fully specced factory for production"
Don't get me wrong, I like the video and concept, but far from "start with nothing" haha.
@@AdamCoolBoyP12 This vid wasn't that lol. I was talking about for a possible vid in the future, where I'd literally start with no profession progression and see what I can do within a week, kinda simulate experience for someone just starting out. Pretty much the opposite of this.
@@Eyancraft I think thats why it would be a relevant and relatable vid - a lot of people might only be getting into professions late so going from nothing to a decent setup in an efficient way would be perfect.
As for which profession, choose it based on what you think would yield the best results on the basis of starting from scratch. Personally I have no idea what that would be :)
In terms of how well it goes compared to this vid, gotta remember that even 1 mill is a fuck ton of money for most players out there, so your personal bar is probably higher, I'm sure it would be good for the masses!
@@AdamCoolBoyP12 i've never even had half of that amount at one time lol
Great video man I really enjoyed your process.
A good video overall mate! Even though I don't do blacksmithing, this was actually entertaining/relaxing to watch.
These are actually decent vids man. On holiday atm so looking to try some of these when I get back
Really great video!
Keep em comin like this❤
Spent a ton of gold to get a toon up to speed (mostly, still missing some points in alloy crafting) only for prices to drop out lol. Maxed out everburing, multicraft and resourcefulness in the far left tree. I feel like 500k is a lot to put into a market and "Just see what happens", but I suppose you have to spend gold to make gold!
I'm not worried about losing my gold so thats exactly what I do to figure stuff out lol probably not the best method. Throw stuff against the wall and see what sticks.
And the market really follows if Bismuth price dips, alloy price dips, Ironclaw ore goes up, Ironclaw Alloys go up etc. Was fine for me all 7 days. Only real way to get caught out with that is if you're sitting on stock for awhile, if you're crafting and selling within the hour prices aren't going to go crazy on you and become unprofitable unless the margins are super tiny to begin with. Check with your craftsim.
First like 4 1/2 days I was just crafting rank 2s, if you can do that with r1 materials you can do this. The extra skill after that breakpoint is redundant until you're making r3s.
I'm guessing you had sanctified alloys and the tinderbox exploit lowered their cost? I stayed away from that.
So nobody is going to mention the Reddit bookmarks at 1:45 😂 Great vid btw
Put them there on purpose atleast someone noticed lol.
This guy is actually so good
i would fill out the first wheel before starting with the ressoucefullness wheel since multi craft is a waaaay better multiplier then ressourcefullness
Good vid man!
I'm trying to do the same but getting like 5k profit for 20mins of crafting, seem to be missing close to 600 aartisan acuity and like 40 points YIKJES, honestly have no idea how you managed the tools and trees, good job :)
I'm a simple man so I'd take that lol. You can afk for 10mins at a time too with BS so 15k an hour afk sounds good to me.
I just did the shuffle I have a video on every week on this character until it was ready to go, so 30mins a week maybe. Doing that on a few others too so I can pivot to things quickly and have a full setup same day.
from nothing...... except 500k and 160 kp which most players are no where near because they haven't done the shuffle, great vid though showing the actual break downs and process is very informative for down the line but most players cant do this right now, ty for the vid mate.
even if they did shuffle, many of "us" didnt know which route to take so as an example my jwc is all over the place casuse you can't predict markets at all because of fresh start.. but if you have dedicated build for whatever, 160kp is giga advantage, even month later in expansion.. just because of lots of people still in the middle of nothing.. a really high numbers of millionares in just first month.. I know at least 5 of them who basically never touch anything but were devoted in beta and knew where to go and there they are.. sitting on 6-7-10 mils...
There is no shuffle.
@@TripleTapHK what do you mean ? 160 from day 1 ?
@@TripleTapHK there was it got neferd nut he go tall the point she need for every prof plus there was a kp bug that went out that let people get more than what they were ment too but thats stopped too now
Think some confusion this video wasn't the one from nothing. Not at all.
The thing is you’d have to farm the knowledge points since launch to get your build right? Like, someone starting today couldn’t replicate it even doing the crafting orders
hah i stopped playing retail at the beginning of Shadowlands, now went to see it and it seems so complicated in terms of proffs. I played wow for 10+ years, and in 2 exp they changed so much i feel like noob. Nevermind ill go farm wool cloth. Was Is and will be expensive.
wish i was smart enough to try and do something like this. i'm so struggeling to make gold. Can't even get enough to buy mats for a crafted 2H'der
same lol im just farming profaned tinderboxes making around 100k an hour
Its very interesting to see this from the other perspective. I've been crafting a lot of weapons the past week, making around 300-500k each day (about half from fee and half from resourcefulness).
My assumption that rank 3 alloys would be more profitable seems to be correct, since thats the alloys that are needed to make 619 and 636 weapons. I did however assume that sanctified alloys would be the most profitable to craft since every single weapon needs them.
Did you calculate making rank 3 sanctified alloys at all later on when you started making the rank 3 stuff? Im also not entire sure when exactly you did this. Sanctified has been jumping between 5,6k to 7.4k each from day to day now on the EU market so kinda volatile.
Nice video! Was wondering how the profits was from alloy-making.
Sanctifieds too volatile for me, they gotta be profit at some point or people wouldn't make them, I just thought too expensive and too big of a risk. Craftsim has said they're profitable for me to craft like once.
Tinderboxes were 4k and 11k this week lol.
Commenting for the algo. Great vid. Ive started a little alt concentrate army for now but ive been wondering where i can dabble to make the profits not using concentrate. Thanks for the video
how is selling 300g bars for 12g "profit" when the AH takes 5% cut? You effectively just lose 3g
I started the video saying I was dumb is what it is. But I also did say "yesterday was a 30g difference," which is when I was doing it. So yeah I probably should have added only do this when the gap is big enough, i'm a noob.
Great vid. I wish i had it before i slammed my points into alloys 😢
You need points there to make R3's eventually anyway, nothing is lost.
@@Eyancraft indeed. Its so hard to get artisan acuity tho
Great video. I went for the profession equipment specialisation, now Im finishing the alloy part of "Means of production". Im guessing there's no point in doing this without the Everburning forge specialisation?
I think Everburning is the most important part by far yes.
Earned a sub, nice video Eyan!
I am wondering if you got a suggestion for what proffesion to get into as a starter for crafting? I have a approx of 500k gold to my acc atm. But I want to learn more about crafting 😅
I like Manthieus' answer for this, just go for whats best for your character, so like if you're a plate player blacksmithing etc, and also one that you enjoy. No point picking one up if you don't enjoy doing it.
Personally just starting out I'd stay away from Enchanting and Alchemy with Flasks/Potion crafting, because margins are so slim there and those markets are dominated by the mega rich. I really really like Alchemy with Thaumaturgy but it takes a fair amount of KP to get into, and after next reset people will have r1->r2 mats unlocked so I'm not sure what that'll do to the market yet, if your aiming long term it will be good though, but it's also not really crafting just shuffling.
I know inscription works, I do it on one of my characters, you just fill out Multitasking/Detail Orientated and Pursuit of Knowledge then craft Ciphers. Kaychak has a video on it where he goes from 0g to Gold Cap in a week I think, and inscription is how he did it.
There are never really any easy markets, because when there are people find them and then they dont exist anymore, so it's more about playing what you like and getting experience, through that you'll learn what works and what doesn't, and that can change within the hour let alone the day. Atleast thats what I do you can see it in this vid.
@@Eyancraft thank you!
ayyy hes back
I would just add to ur thought process if u might me, I wouldnt buy the framework for resourcefulness since u can proc it and get IDK ironclaw or other less profitable mats back, instead I would buy it for multicraft and if it procs its guaranteed gold.
I only used it on Sanctified which have a chance of tinderboxes/nullstones. I think the multicraft framework wasn't worth the gold it cost iirc.
@@Eyancraft but still can proc the echoing flux ( i think thats the name) and it would be a "waste proc" u know, out of 4 reagents or 5 u want resourcefulness on 2, while multicraft everyproc is a profit thats what I meant, but i havent done the math just throwing the thought u know :D cheers
Since this video released, I can’t sell any alloys😢. Great video tho
My ego isn't big enough to think I can have any impact on markets lol. Material prices just went down so so did alloys, the profits still there.
@@Eyancraft Well mate 34K views for WoW community is a lot. It can affect market prices. But not that much, on my realm the alloy prices went down a lot. Etc. Core alloy quality 3 went from 1800 to 1300 in one day😅. Ain't got that much gold to spend on resources to craft and barely make something back now. I might return to mining. 🙃
@@martinglasa7078 They are not priced per realm, but across the entire region US/EU.
hey man great video, im doing the same at the moment, with lower quantity - crafting around 300 here and there, making around 30-40k profit everytime just from core alloys, when do you decide to craft ironclaw alloys ? or do you use ur mulitcraft core alloys to craft other alloys ?
Just when I thought I had enough Core Alloys on the AH.
gained a sub here
Thanks brother.
good video, but right now the market collapsed and making a profit is impossible atm. alloys wont sell
So is this a combination of Blacksmithing and Mining?
Nah mate just blacksmithing.
Hey, I just finished my full build. But with all my multicraft and resourcelfulness and the prices now. I sell it for the same price i bought the bismuth. Is there a chance the price will rise again or is it gg ?
You don't need prices to increase margins remain the same, Bismuth is cheaper now than it was in this video R3 on US is 100g down. Just buy and sell within the same hour and use craftsim to see how profitable it is before you do it.
Alternatively you could do some quick math with how much you've spent compared to how much you've made so you know where your profit point is, and then try to only sell them when its at or above that.
you did allot of cancellscans, at what point you decide to cancel not to leave it?
Basically canceled and reposted after each burning ignition charge. So like I'd post go craft stuff again for 10minutes, cancel then repost what I'd just crafted plus what was left on ah over and over.
During this week, what stat did you have on your blacksmithing hammer and what enchant? :)
Multicraft on Hammer as main stat with Resourcefulness Enchant because you can't get a Multi Enchant.
Why go for resourcefulness instead of more multicraft? (Frame vs powder)
They've been to expensive since they brought in the glimmer shatter recipe. People gotta be better at math than me cos I don't know why theres a market for r2/r3 versions of any of them. Doing something I don't know about.
i was doing this like a week and i went from 15k to almost 1m but only with core alloys, didn't know if it was good charged alloy or ironclaw so im gonna try it
how do you leave them in the AH and have them al sell?? people just undercut for days and it never sells
thats in the vid lol, i just reposted after each craft session of 1 everburning charge.
my dumb ass has been an engineer for a long time even tho blizzard does not give a flying fuck about it anymore and it rarely gets to make any money
engineering is my most hated i never do it, so i don't know whats going on with it sorry man :(
leatherworking reagents next
Great video man! do you stream?
Thanks bro but nah I don't.
Sanctified alloys give skill up, so crafters will sell for a loss
Do alchemy transmutations next
I'm like 35 points shy of a full build for that, once I have those points I plan to try.
what was the addon that told you how much gold concentration added?
Craftsim.
Did you craft the R3 core alloys yourself to then make R3 ironclaw and charged alloys with them?
Yes, but it was always profitable for me to do that. I imagine sometimes if R3 Bismuth is high enough and R3 Core Alloy low enough it would be more profitable to just buy the bars, didn't happen while I was doing it though.
@@Eyancraft Do you remember the prices for R3 Bismuth and R3 core alloy? For EU the R3 price for bismuth is ALWAYS higher then R3 alloys. dont know how to calculate the multicraft procs into that so i know when its more profitable to craft or to buy.
@@Schwammgurke-tv1jr Yeah I bought R3 Bismuth up to 250g not over and bars were from 2k to 2.1k
have been debating is resourcfulness better than multicrafting in this case or the opposite?
Multicraft is much better, Craftsim also tells you if you have it. For me right now 1 point of Multicraft on R3 Core Alloy is =88silver, while 1 point of Resourcefulness is only =27s
@@Eyancraft oh wow pretty huge difference. I just came across this video just as I was starting to level my BS alt. Any suggestions if I should spend artisans getting tools first or spend all on KP first (or at least the ever burning spec)
@@TheKainzor Personally think KP until you have max Multi/Resource and can craft r2 alloys with r1 materials. Then Multicraft tool, then everything else.
@@Eyancraft that's great, I will try give it a shot and see, thanks for your insight and it was a really entertaining video :)
@Eyan yo what type proffesion tools do you have stat wise?
the only tool you can change stats on i've got multicraft
How did you get so many knowledge points?
It's 160kp heres a vid on the one time stuff you can get ~100 just from them. Rest from weekly stuff. ua-cam.com/video/07m48TcN6_I/v-deo.html
Odd question but if you are trying to get new crafters up and running. Is it too late? Are we too far behind the curve or is there some catch up mechanic to close some of the gap.
no. you can craft day 1 with the correct spec order.
There is glimmers which is supposed to be a catchup system. But I don't think it's that good, it doesn't give you full catchup. But it's literally never to late.
You know the saying best time to start was yesterday second best time is right now. There will be new seasons and with each new season will come new demand and new recipes.
how did you level to lvl 100 on blacksmithing???
With the Everburning Ignition, it gets you to 100.
I would guess this is doable only with maxxed out blue tools. Most people are probably struggling to get 900 acuity at this point.
can confirm.. this is not doable with a single green tool. you need all blue tools and maxed out 100/100 blacksmithing with the correct spec that gives u the multicraft / resourcefulness and the extra skill points for crafting alloys. if not, you are limited to making r3 with concentration and that is no bueno for long term gold making
Maxed spec and blue tools is the only way to make profit in anything anymore.
Also to clarify, because of your spec are you buying R1 mats and making R2 alloy in the beginning? I’m not quite there yet which is why maybe this wasn’t working for me
Yeah I am never bought R2 materials., just R1 and made R2 alloys. Although I did when I made temepered potions one time cos R2 was cheaper than R1 so gotta keep an eye out for that.
@@Eyancraft I've also bought all of my knowledge books besides the 400 acuity one. I'm debating using that for blue tools. I have 5 more points to go in Fortuitous Forges and then 20 into alloys. All of my everburning ignition tree is full (80 KP's). Would you recommend buying the last book or a blue hammer?
Also, do you have a discord or anything? Love your page!
You can stack those 2 phials?😮
DF and TWW versions yep.
Don't understand how you get this much knowledge and Acuity to get all of that...
Acuity shuffling
I have videos on it, for acuity - ua-cam.com/video/uB0OYkD1Y5I/v-deo.html, and for the knowledge points - ua-cam.com/video/07m48TcN6_I/v-deo.html
@@Eyancraft been doing that but not since week one since i wasn’t interested in professions.. rip
yeah im guessing you cant do this unless you have 100 skill, blue tools and the epic bag.. how much acuity even is that, like over 1k?
You don't have to spend your own acuity on bag. And to the degree I have sure you need it all, can't even make r3s without it. But you can certainly be profitable with the r2s without max setup.
@@Eyancraft im curious if you can make good money on a fresh blacksmith with green tools. I made a hunter who i wanted to just make epic cloths and alloys on but i kind of didn’t invest in blacksmith when i saw how expensive it was to get running. And i saw that from around 65 skill it’s kind of impossible to level outside of forge cd thingie.
When you have done it in First week or now ?
19th - 26th September
@@Eyancraft thanks try it now too :-)
But for outmaxing Alloy skills Need much more specialisation points and acuity
And im siting here at 10k gold haveing no clue what your saying im cooked😂
swear on me mom my accent not even that heavy, but if you only have 10k go double gathering
@Eyancraft nah I meant I have no idea how this shit works its too complicated for me lol
Would you be willing to share your addons please?
For this, Craftsim, Journalator and Auctionator.
How did you gueranteed rank 3 alloy's? I am trying tier 3 reagents but still need about 100 resourcefullness to get a tier 3 😞
I'm not missing anything. Get Craftsim, at the top click Specialization Info, it will tell you if you are missing points. Then you also need all 3 blue tools and 100/100 Blacksmithing.
@@Eyancraft yep im missing like 12 points thats the two missing blue tools.
iam just starting with black smiting do you have any tips?
fill up atleast resourcefulness/multicraft depending on what you want to do in everburning forge first, both even if applicable
@@Eyancraft ahh okay almost got those but if i want to craft the alloys its -81 gold everytime is it becouse i am to low speced?
is that with the everburning forge buff on?
how did you craft r3? without concentration and a pretty much minmaxxed build 3 blue tools im still missing 40 skill
I'm not missing anything. Get Craftsim, at the top click Specialization Info, it will tell you if you are missing points. You also need 100/100 Blacksmithing and to be crafting with R3 Materials.
@@Eyancraft I have 100/100 and all "needed" specializations aswell except 10/30 in "means of production" - the tooltip there also doesnt say it applies for alloys unless they are counted as "consumables"
Yes you need full Means of Production.
@@Eyancraft alright, thank you
Hey, would love a discord where we can discuss and ask questions :)
My discord is "eyan__" two underscores, I should default have that in description probably yeah. I'll always eventually respond on that.
honestly i wonder how many people now lost money by following your video xD the market has crashed so hard its insane. there is legit no money to be made in alloys on my server anymore and im fully maxed for making alloys xD
no it hasn't, the materials to craft them are down aswell, the margins are the same
if bismuth was still 260g per you'd be right, but its at 200g now, thats why alloys are down as well because they're cheaper to make
@@Eyancraft idk what Server you are playing in.. I pay 35 per if I don't buy bulk but like 50 stacks here and there other then that avg bismuth price is 38g. And a bar of alloy goes for 285 atm so I need a crafting profit of like 65g just to break even on the craft.. + 5% the ah will take ^^' it's insane the price dropped from 304 per alloy to 285 in the last 30h xd
Made 16 mil doing chest enchants and profession tools. Area52 server main. Still bringing in around 3-5 mil a week
Good stuff brother, I'm scared of enchanting.
how do you sell millions of those if they are like 1-2k profit each craft
R3
Ah, so this video is probably why the alloy market profits have been way down the last couple days.
The number of available of rank 3 alloys has tripled.
you lose 5% of what you sell though, comes out to a wash when crafting your ironclaw alloys, at 320g each is 16g on the dot
good luck to the poor souls that watch this video and don't bother to understand that you need a full build.
bro i mention that literally 2 seconds in lol
the profits are nothing like this anymore, rip.
Edit: after a little more experimenting, there is 100% still profit to be made, it’s just a timing thing on my end
this was literally last week
@@Eyancraft I have the same build and tools/accessories and everything. Profit margins are nowhere near this at all anymore lol, if any
@@bunniesrock34 I can't check EU, but this isn't right on US i've been doing it today, so if you are on US, are you checking profits WITH everburning forge on and do you have max multi/resource in that tree?
@@Eyancraft yeah I have it maxed. I think i’m just timing things wrong to be honest, just gotta learn
