what a great playthrough, it's good to know he loved the game, a solid 9.5 is crazy, I hope you try the multiplayer, hunting in a group is a lot of fun, also trying out other weapons and stuff, II'm already looking forward to a MH: Rise playthrough, I think he will like because the combat goes insane and he cares a lot about gameplay, but until then, congratulations on beating Iceborne and welcome to the Hunters Guild, you are now officially an A-class Hunter! The challenges are not over yet, but you earned your space.
**To everyone saying he won’t be able to solo the event dragons!** The Devs put an update years ago making it to where dragons like Safi, Alatreon, and Fatalis can be solo’d as they’re given “Solo” quest health. It was a cool update.
Nice one mate. Been playing MH since the PSP days. Mental how far it's come. I honestly thought this game series would always be cult really but World changed all of that. Now it looks like not only will we get the games outside of Japan, we will also get worldwide release on the same day. Great times.
Finally he beat the second tutorial now is when the real game begins Raging brachydios, Alatreon, Fatalis, Arch Velkana and the Guiding lands multiplayer.

Asmon evolved, showing a new shinny color "Asmonblue Sapphire", proud of you asmon, and wait your trip to Kamura village, they need a Hunter like you!!
90% of the time monsters were only attacking the palico and the palico rarely took dmg or went K.O . Gameplay wise it felt as if attacking a target dummy while the mosters is taunted by an immortal tank with perma taunt who had cheats on or mods.
The best, most creepy part of the shara fight, when it opens it's eyes, it not looking at the hunter...it's looking at the camera, he's looking at YOU.
Funnily enough - that's not quite what it does, its eyes are convex, so it causes an optical illusion that it's always looking at you. So it isn't a game trick, it's actually a physical feature of the monster
@@totallynotanemu9165 It's EXACTLY what it does. How else do you program eyes to look straight at the player, especially when there's 4 of them? You give it convex eyes so everyone gets the same effect and the monster doesn't get a bloody seizure. Especially since in the cutscene that effect is NOT THERE.
Golden era of Asmon streams. I just wish i didnt start same time as him since i skipped a lot cuz of spoilers. Now that I'm caught up, I'll def rewatch everything from the beginning. Such an amazing game

asmon should play with his friends who play this game, this game is super fun solo but its even more fun with people when you get good enough you just chill and talk about random stuff while hunting or hunt the hard stuff and its super intense even with other players!

Proud of you for making it his far man! You're up in our master ranks now! That last Nerg you fought? Was a Ruiner Nerg. Welcome to extra hard mode and he's one of the jerks in your way.
Something I’ve noticed is that he really doesn’t take time to prepare for each fight. Like the BV Vaal Hazak fight, no miasma decos and wants to complain about health drain mechanics. I feel like in so many situations he’s just made things harder on himself than they had to be simply because he’s to stubborn to make the appropriate adjustments. Just complains, it’s the games fault, not his😒
Congratulations Asmon!!! Do remember if you play the post game that it is supposed to be a challenge, even us veterans die on the final bosses still. I believe you can kill them all if you want to. Have fun with what you do next and see you in Rise and Wilds!!! Put them all in the box! 😀
Now I can't wait for the fights in the Guiding Lands and those two special Elder Dragons yet to come. But really I can't wait for him to fight the best boi, the dragon doggo, though I expect with how Asmon's progressing it won't be a hard fight as he has impressed me with how well he's doing only using half of his kit with GS and the Clutch Claw.

Woo, easy parts of G-Rank is done, now it’s time for guiding lands/end game and tempered monsters, the monsters that give people nightmares. Also, good choice going through the story solo. Playing with people usually ends in a lot more failed hunts.
God damn, that Shara fight was an assclencher! Good stuff, Zack! Hope you'll consider going forward some more, there's a whole lot of content you haven't seen yet.
Speed Eating is good with GS because the quicker you heal, the quicker you can get back to attacking the monster rather than waiting forever for your bar to go up. Anything related to speed is good? SO Focus, Quick Sheathe, and Speed Eating will improve active battle. For sharpening, just get Great Whetfish fins to sharpen in one stroke? The Speed Sharpening skill isn't needed if you have those. Other good skills for GS are the anti BS skills or anti interuption skills, such as Earplugs, Wind Resistance and Stun Resistance. You will hardly get interupted with those skills.
Seeing him fight i remember why earplugs + flash standard use for me. Especially when they try to leave an area, the instant roar is hardly dodgeable and a flash keeps it there.
You can't skyrocket MR exp for Fatalis/Alatreon he will kill the same.monsters and if he wants the real challenge he gotta lvl up his guiding lands for augments and items which he won't do probably

@@zondor8123 that's also what I call that place, grinding for that FASHION baby.
what a great playthrough, it's good to know he loved the game, a solid 9.5 is crazy, I hope you try the multiplayer, hunting in a group is a lot of fun, also trying out other weapons and stuff, II'm already looking forward to a MH: Rise playthrough, I think he will like because the combat goes insane and he cares a lot about gameplay, but until then, congratulations on beating Iceborne and welcome to the Hunters Guild, you are now officially an A-class Hunter! The challenges are not over yet, but you earned your space.
Ready to see asmon beat fatalis
Well he's got a few more tests between now and Fatalis
He'll need more time if he wants to defeat fatalis
i think he gonna get heavy artillery,
If Asmon does fight Fatalis, we'll have to use vacation days to get out of work. That would be a GRUELING watch and play
He need to beat the wall of frustration first, alatreon, the one who always cart u out on the first hunt no matter who it is...before facing fatalis..
**To everyone saying he won’t be able to solo the event dragons!**
The Devs put an update years ago making it to where dragons like Safi, Alatreon, and Fatalis can be solo’d as they’re given “Solo” quest health. It was a cool update.
Nice one mate. Been playing MH since the PSP days. Mental how far it's come. I honestly thought this game series would always be cult really but World changed all of that. Now it looks like not only will we get the games outside of Japan, we will also get worldwide release on the same day. Great times.
I do hope it's world premiere day 1 or I'm gonna lose my mind.
I really love to see him trying behemot, safi, alatreon and Fatalis.
He finally met zinogre, the monster that got him to play MH, and it went and bailed out😂
Finally he beat the second tutorial now is when the real game begins Raging brachydios, Alatreon, Fatalis, Arch Velkana and the Guiding lands multiplayer.
It amazes me that he reached this point without learning wallbang or superman dive
he will need to learn it soon when he face raging brachy or just rajang. but who knows.
Phase 1 Shara is the ultimate part-break satisfaction given by capcom before phase 2, the pain.
He steamrolled monster hunter without getting the basics down what a monster. I've seen players with hundreds of hours stuggle more than he did. Good job man! I hope you stick with the franchise you're a breath of fresh air in the community.
Asmon evolved, showing a new shinny color "Asmonblue Sapphire", proud of you asmon, and wait your trip to Kamura village, they need a Hunter like you!!
This is probably asking for a lot but hopefully he gets to safi, alatreon, fatalis, and kulve
Thank you for making me relive this journey, it has been an absolute blast watching you play through all of it!
amazing work! glad you played through the entire game + dlc. hope to see you fight monke soon
As a gs player, every miss of the gs while fighting namielle gave me minor panic attacks each time
I can't watch him play honestly
Nice, he finished the prolong, now he can get into the real game.
Wow. I got back into this November 4th. Been slowly working at it. And I'm a veteran from 2004. He beat me and it in 1 week lol.
2:50:16 Those were some great self-controlled tackles paid off well. When he gets more used to the game, he'll be unstoppable
Seeing asmon actually using pretty decent tcs movements, and shoulder bashing to position into incoming attacks makes me happy as a gs main
Regarding hitboxes on breath attacks, you need to consider that the AOE includes the air blast. They make a lot of sense for me.
It's cool but unfortunately the armor set is not that good, the same thing as Xenojiva.
Funnily enough - that's not quite what it does, its eyes are convex, so it causes an optical illusion that it's always looking at you. So it isn't a game trick, it's actually a physical feature of the monster
@@totallynotanemu9165Dude, that’s cool!
Monster hunter fans going out of their way to tell everyone of this specific trivia
Golden era of Asmon streams. I just wish i didnt start same time as him since i skipped a lot cuz of spoilers. Now that I'm caught up, I'll def rewatch everything from the beginning. Such an amazing game
I wonder if he'll play MHRise, I started playing it with a friend as a MHWorld player and dear God it's really good. Despite the graphics on UA-cam it surprisingly plays near perfect. And has even more than World
I miss wirebugs so god damn bad dude
he said he'll try it but not right away since there's last epoch and dragon's dogma but I assume he's gonna play it a month or two before wild's release date
Xenoblade exists @@typhoon4994
@@typhoon4994that's the problem, Switch games still got the Switch graphics, they should have improved it when they port it to PC IMO
asmon should play with his friends who play this game, this game is super fun solo but its even more fun with people
when you get good enough you just chill and talk about random stuff while hunting or hunt the hard stuff and its super intense even with other players!
Dude I truly hope asmon can experience the last monster that starts with F.
He's finally out of tutorial part2, now time for the REAL game to begin
GG BRO!
GRATS on beating base Iceborne!
His armor is pretty good if you farm him. Just a lot of HP.
Now.....
There is more hunts if you're up to it 😂
It's not over yet!
Even though. Proud of you for making it his far man! You're up in our master ranks now!
That last Nerg you fought?
Was a Ruiner Nerg.
Welcome to extra hard mode and he's one of the jerks in your way.
Wow, he actually saw it through from start to (partial) finish! Props
I really hope he goes for alatreon and maybe even fatalis
Something I’ve noticed is that he really doesn’t take time to prepare for each fight. Like the BV Vaal Hazak fight, no miasma decos and wants to complain about health drain mechanics. I feel like in so many situations he’s just made things harder on himself than they had to be simply because he’s to stubborn to make the appropriate adjustments. Just complains, it’s the games fault, not his😒
Yay time for Safi, Alatreon, and Fatalis
He is now one of us. This addiction runs deep my friend good luck
Wow waht amazing, cant wait to see him start the GRINDing land
Congratulations Asmon!!! Do remember if you play the post game that it is supposed to be a challenge, even us veterans die on the final bosses still. I believe you can kill them all if you want to. Have fun with what you do next and see you in Rise and Wilds!!! Put them all in the box! 😀
Even someone who has 999 Fatalis kill counts. Cart once a month lol
I love seeing these as a hunting horn main from days of MH old!
Awesome to see Asmon beat the Iceborne campaign, hope he pulls through and grinds his way to Fatty and AT Velkhana
LESGOO, congrats asmon. But the game doesn't end here. Good luck in endgame.
Now I can't wait for the fights in the Guiding Lands and those two special Elder Dragons yet to come. But really I can't wait for him to fight the best boi, the dragon doggo, though I expect with how Asmon's progressing it won't be a hard fight as he has impressed me with how well he's doing only using half of his kit with GS and the Clutch Claw.
great work asmon, now join me in the eternal hunt to become the fashion hunter
His first actual wall will be Furious Rajang and Raging Brachydios. They're show stoppers for most.
Raging? How? He's a complete jobber.
hope him know this is not the end
this is the start of a great hunting journey
Damn, he tackled through an attack on instinct and got a TCS hit in the beginning.
Nice work, dude. You beat the freaking DLC, I was worried you would give up after the the bazel fight but nope. Now it's time to fight Rajang.
I Couldn't watch this series anymore, Started playing the other day and had to stop by and say this game is amazing and i slept on it so badly. I've been struggling to really get pulled into a game recently and this did just that. Thanks Capcom for making a great game.
Yes sir now for end game monsters!
People wanting him to fight fatalis right away just want him to fail miserably.
Everyone knows Capcom shouldn't have put Fatalis as low as they did.
Gotta say I'm having a blast watching this playthrough. I'm definitely in for more.
Every time I see that ending cutscene with ruiner nerg I just think of the “I’m wolverine!” “Im saberrtooth!” Meme
Woo, easy parts of G-Rank is done, now it’s time for guiding lands/end game and tempered monsters, the monsters that give people nightmares.
Also, good choice going through the story solo. Playing with people usually ends in a lot more failed hunts.
He should start getting into layered gear in post-game and do a transmog competition
Damn good job actually finishing a game asmon I do wonder will he try to beat safi, alatreon and fatalis?
I’m glad Asmongold got to experience his first Monster Hunter. Also his surprise at Shaara Ishvalda waking back up was priceless.
The entire fight at 19:41 im on the floor laughing. xD
God damn, that Shara fight was an assclencher! Good stuff, Zack!
Hope you'll consider going forward some more, there's a whole lot of content you haven't seen yet.
I won’t be satisfied until you beat Fatalis
I'll be happy as long as he at least tries to beat it, if he fails he fails
Better yet don’t get hit you’re bad at the game lil bro try to be better
@@warrioremperor6320 Yeah because most people can take on Fatalis and Alatreon without getting hit. Not realistic.
I am so proud of you!!!!!
Seeing him fight i remember why earplugs + flash standard use for me. Especially when they try to leave an area, the instant roar is hardly dodgeable and a flash keeps it there.
Can't wait to see how much "fun" he'll have on Fatalis :p
Crush it doood! so glad you made it. Last episode wasnt sure if youd make it any further :).
Never played this game but after this I'm playing it
play it now
Dang u missed the big discount but good luck
the game was like what? 9 bucks? 20 I think for both base and iceborne
I mean,he can just pirate it
Cant wait to see his reaction to rajang, savage, and alatreon. Don't remember if you need to beat safi before alatreon but still
Asmon needs to get his streamer friends and go do kulve, safi, fatalis, and alatreon! 😭
Namielle is my favorite of the elder dragons in this game. Love the jellyfish vibe armor set is awesome too
The main story...now there's about 5-10 more hours of content left. Probably more if he decides to grind to MR100.
If he want to get to every monster in Iceborne alone, that's way more than 5-10 hours
Soloing the rest of the monsters under MR100 would be quite difficult. Definitely not happening in 5-10 hours lol.
You can't skyrocket MR exp for Fatalis/Alatreon he will kill the same.monsters and if he wants the real challenge he gotta lvl up his guiding lands for augments and items which he won't do probably
5-10 hours? you mean at least 25-50 aint no way you can grind to mr 100 in 10 hours from where he is. plus all the monsters he has to kill, which some of them are harder than everything he just fought put together looking at you Fatalis, basically god himself
it would take alot more hours if he want to reach mr100 the way he plays
Holy shit I forgot how long this game was. It's like every time you beat the game "but wait there's more!"
Life of a greatsword main
1:52:34 ☺
2:37:31 🤬
I love how the whole fight he is "this is buslhit, i hate this, this is garbage, shitty boss". Then he kills it and "I wanna kill this one again"
