Hi Lew, we didn't do this trail with the Yamaha Offroad Centre. To be honest it's probably to technical for me. How strange, I've been subbed to Adrian and Electron for a very long time and now I have all three of you 🤔 Hope I didn't just sound like a stalker 😮 Great video by the way 👍
I did the gravel trail around the reservoir last year. Is this the road that carries on at the end🤔someone told me you needed some kind of permission to go further, so i turned around & went back to the dam where i started. It looks amazing, apart from the deep puddles, not confident with DEEP puddles😂😉
Hi Bud, thanks for watching. There's a small section of trail that links the 2 that is private land, which is where the farm house is. The Farmer generally (not speaking for him of course) is a nice chap, and does allow motorcycles through his land to continue on the byway on the other side, but only in small groups and obviously people riding respectfully not tear arsing through his land and leaving gates open. You would have been fine passing through on your own mate to be fair, but it's good to air on the side of caution if unsure. Trailriders have been using this trail for decades, so I think you'll be fine 😉 but be aware, the river crossing can be very deep and fast at times so be on your guard and travel in pairs if you can. 😉
@@ifindoubtbailout70 No problem bud. We're a small community, have to look after each other 😉 below is a link to the route I created on my outdooractive of this exact day out, this video, the "Hidden Gem" and "ultimate ADV playground" are all of the same route and are on the GPX using the link below. Have fun and stay safe ✌️ www.outdooractive.com/en/r/264752689?
Another good one 👍
You'll have to do this one yourself when you're back down this way now you know where it is.
@@lewsdirtbikedays yes mate and strata 👍
@@Offroadjono this lane is quite similar to strata to be fair, same slate ledges and deep arse ruts full to the top with muddy water 😅
