I have a guy friend who broke the fart barrier within seconds of us being introduced! My friends and I call farts barking spiders and of they smell a little bit, we call them venomous barking spiders, if they're the smell so bad they make you puke, we call them fatal barking spiders. My dad once had a fart that stunk so bad in a hotel bathroom, the people in the next room thought there was something dead in the air vent. They even thought somebody was killed in one of the rooms and the body was somewhere near an air vent and the whole time it was just my dad's gas
OMG MY Dad called HIS farts barking spiders. He would pretend his hand was a spider and then the great cracking fart would come and it would fall over, kick its lil legs a bit and then play dead from the smell of its own gas. Good times. Love you so much Dad!!! Now I do the same with my kid. Hehehe

I was very shy about it---as my Mom used to tell me 'ladies never pass gas out loud!' But....wow...holding it in was horribly painful! We've been married over 37 years and still get a good laugh out of gassy issues! Really mature, right? One of our fave movies...'Blazing Saddles' and the scene around the campfire! Even my shy Mom used to get a belly laugh out of it! Fun video! 👍😄

In fact if someone makes a statement and then farts, we consider that the end of the discussion. (Efficient way of resolving conflicts.) Our #1 family creed is "FART DON'T SHART," a tenet which Penn can attest invariably gets broken at some point in a marriage. Meanwhile my SISTER claims that she and her husband "HAVE NEVER" farted in front of each other, opting instead to step into the bathroom to commit the deed. Needless to say I don't understand these people and, well, we don't hang out much.

Brian wasn't feeling well one evening and went to bed, I stayed in the family room watching TV. THEN gradually noxious smell rounded the corner and invaded the "safe zone." Brian woke up to me Fabreezing him and the sheets. He still tells people I "Fabreezed" him.
The other day in Costco I came across a bottle of "Bean-O." I held it up to my husband and said, "Check it out babe, this would be like KRYPTONITE to you!" Dude shopping stopped and said "OMG are you guys married? That's the funniest thing I've heard it two weeks!" I left CostCo feeling very satisfied having entertained shopping dude.

I laughed so hard my back went into a spasm because my husband and I just had this happen where he farted and I tasted it in my mouth, got a headache, and almost threw up. The worst is when you fart under the covers and it slowly creeps out, it's like you go to rearrange the covers and snuggle up and Bam! 20min later it's like it happened all over again😂
Watched this May 7, 2024. After watching this, it reminded me of when my husband and I were dating in the late 80s and early 90s. After we had been married about 10 years, we both discovered something hilarious about each other. We both discovered that after our dates, we would be waving goodbye at each other from a distance farting all the farts that we had held in all day long. He would drive away in his Black Nova smiling and waving and farting all the way down the driveway and the street and I would be standing behind the screendoor smiling and waving at him as he backed out the driveway, farting all the farts that I had held in all day long during our date. This happened almost every evening and neither of us knew it until 10 years into this wonderful life together. We would hang out all day long having picnics at the park, hiking, walking through the mall, sitting on his couch playing Mad Libs etc... and then when he would drop me off at my house, we would say our goodbyes and fart very long, and very loud strings of farts- relieved to finally let it all out, smiling and waving at each other until he drove out of sight-neither of us knowing the other was doing it! We recently had our 32 wedding anniversary and those days of holding it all in are long past.💨 😂😊

He is Hispanic, and the stereotype about them & gas was totally true in regards to my hubby. he broke the fart barrier when I was 16. we were cuddling on my mom's couch watching Pearl Harbor it was silent but deadly. His are loud but not often stinky, so he would just start talking SUPER LOUD, when we first started dating. In fact, I always knew one was coming when he would begin talking loud... It didn't take long before we broke through though. 😉

A couple moments later, he got up and left the room and then came back with a can of air freshener. He sprayed the air, sat back down, and the rest is history! I let out a Long silent but deadly while watching a movie with my wife(we were only dating for a month), she smelled it and she let it go but I accidently did it again later in the movie, she let it go but I saw her holding her nose, later let put a third silent one and that's when she told me, " babe do you keep farting? Him about a month in, me not until we lived together a year plus later. On a funny note though it was the other who could tell the other was in distress and just said let it go. He had been pulling the car over and stepping out to do it, so I said just crack the window and go for it. Now he tells me suffer and locks the windows out to the delight of our toddler. He actually asked me to fart because he said it was weird being the only one doing it, boy does he regret that one. Sorry if that is TMI, but fart humor is a big part of our daily life especially with our kids.
Why are farts so hilarious and embarrassing at the same time? 😜 My husband and I were both just like, hey, it happens.... very early on. And he has definitely created clouds that won't go away. 😳😂 I keep a box of matches by my bed and if there's a really bad one, I light a match, in the hopes that it will burn away the smell. We think it helps 😜
I really don't remember when hubby and I broke the fart barrier. It was kinda one of those things that we did it and didn't really think of it. Or I at least don't remember anything worth sticking out in minds. Maybe for us it's been slowly evolving over time. He'd do it then I'd do it. But we didn't fully acknowledge it. And now we do it and laugh thinking it's funny.

I’d hear her do it in her sleep, and I’m sure she’s heard me do the same, but we don’t just purposely do it around each other, or even let them slide near each other. We go to other rooms.

Ok, so my dog is just cute, sweet, and very girlie (little fluffy white thing). She like almost never has gas. But, every now and again, I will walk her and she'll squeak a little as we're walking. She even passes gas in the cutest way! Lol! My brother's big dog - he would turn me green and Chase me out of the living room! We would fight over who's sitting on the loveseat. He's always win this battle.😒😂

Pretty sure my husband farted on our first date. I know he has been farting from the very beginning. I grew up in a family where we would get in trouble for farting anywhere other than our bedrooms or the bathroom, and I still cant get past that. I know I am a bad sleep farter, and I was letting them rip when I was in labor after I got the epidural. I try not do it still, and it's been almost 5 years

Surprisingly we are both happy with this. The boyfriend I had before my husband, he would fart all the time. It was a huge turn off. My father and brother would fart all the time too. I told this to my husband and he thinks it's gross to hear women fart, so we're on the same page. Don't get me wrong, I let them rip, but I make sure I'm alone or just with my kids. Haha!

And he has definitely created clouds that won't go away. 😳😂 I keep a box of matches by my bed and if there's a really bad one, I light a match, in the hopes that it will burn away the smell. We think it helps 😜

I really don't remember when hubby and I broke the fart barrier. It was kinda one of those things that we did it and didn't really think of it. Or I at least don't remember anything worth sticking out in minds. Maybe for us it's been slowly evolving over time. He'd do it then I'd do it. But we didn't fully acknowledge it. And now we do it and laugh thinking it's funny.

My husband farted loudly the first time we met. Prob within the first couple hours. I, on the other hand, didn't for 3-4 yrs
It happened early on, but we were 50 years old, so we also asked for a chronic illness list and long term medication list. The joys of marrying older.
This just popped in my yt recommended 3 years later, haha. Either way, I’ve been married almost 15 years now and we still don’t openly fart in front of each other. I’d hear her do it in her sleep, and I’m sure she’s heard me do the same, but we don’t just purposely do it around each other, or even let them slide near each other. We go to other rooms.
I was walking up the steps to get into my office and farted directly into my girlfriend's face (I'm talking like her nose and mouth were level to my butt). I turned around and, to my surprise, she was just laughing. Thats when I knew we were destined to be... Been married 2 1/2 years now!

My, now husband, farted with in the first 5 minutes of us being in the car on our first date. We were on a double date and he friend actually claimed it.

In 2005 I met some friends at WDW that I knew from a Disney pin trading website. They wee also on Southwest airline so they met me at my gate. While we were walking down to baggage claim I told Larry my friend's Husband I brought a bottle of Bean o so I wuldn't fart around them. Ok, so my dog is just cute, sweet, and very girlie (little fluffy white thing). She like almost never has gas. But, every now and again, I will walk her and she'll squeak a little as we're walking. She even passes gas in the cutest way! Lol! My brother's big dog - he would turn me green and Chase me out of the living room! We would fight over who's sitting on the loveseat. He's always win this battle.😒😂

Pretty sure my husband farted on our first date. I know he has been farting from the very beginning. I grew up in a family where we would get in trouble for farting anywhere other than our bedrooms or the bathroom, and I still cant get past that. I know I am a bad sleep farter, and I was letting them rip when I was in labor after I got the epidural. I try not do it still, and it's been almost 5 years

My husband and I, we've been married for 5 years and together for almost 12 years. We haven't broken the fart barrier. Surprisingly we are both happy with this. The boyfriend I had before my husband, he would fart all the time. It was a huge turn off. My father and brother would fart all the time too. I told this to my husband and he thinks it's gross to hear women fart, so we're on the same page. Don't get me wrong, I let them rip, but I make sure I'm alone or just with my kids. Haha!
