I'm planning to give this a try in a low cost havok/thena deck. I usually leave some energy on the table trying to play 2 cards per turn to scale up thena. One lane with a big thena, one with a big havok, and another with a surprise hulk sounds kinda interesting. I'll see how that goes lmao
I see Bruce Banner as a soft counter to Red Guardian. Banner protects 99% of cards in his lane from RG. If you use him in that role, he has purpose beyond Hulking out. Put him in decks with important low power cards you want to protect.
As a new player with 700 something CL I just used the single key that I had because I wanted anything besides Bruce...and of course I got Bruce 😅. Not a single spotlight in the future interest me besides Nimrod and maybe Phoenix Force at the end of February so that's enought time to get like three more keys I think (and waiting for SC to buff Bruce after all the complains 😂)
I'd like to stay collection complete, but I'm hesitant to spend keys until the January patch, and spending 6k on Bruce feels bad. I'll wait and see how he performs
Am I right in thinking any buff on Bruce would not be added to Hulk when he transforms? For example, if you were to hulkbuster Bruce when he changes, he would be a standard 12 not 15
Honestly, I feel like most of the time played on curve, he'll hulk out, and players get a free hulk. With that said, I feel like he's an easy skip judt because there's much better cards this month and next.
What if I have Ravonna, but don't have High Evo? It's a hard decision, because I really want Rocket and Groot, so saving keys is a good idea, but Bruce Banner is interesting and seems fun to me. 🤔

So I am skipping Doom 2099 (it's a good card but so predictable), so there is no way I would waste my keys on garbage like Bruce Banner. Honestly I see him being buffed to a 33% chance quickly to make him more viable, still no dice.

I can't get this card- too many other god cards lately. But I love the design, and it's such a nice boost to High Evo.
