Nice radio. Liked it so much that I bought 2 more cousins. To add to my go packs . Also cut several 5 meter wire antennas, then found a bfo. That I use to give ssb. To my rig. Then going through my junk box I find 3 small canvas bags. The bags have. Pockets for said devices and battery's. Truly a mach made in heaven don't you think.?

It is not a DRM but DSP chip analog radio. Please don't give misinformation. DRM radios cost around 20,000/- and receive only DRM broadcast.

I'm not 100% sure you're correct. It's not a DRM radio. It uses a DSP chip to process the signal. Digital Signal Processing isn't the same as Digital Radio Mondiale. At least not here in the US. Would have been great for English captioning to reach a broader audience.

You are correct DRM is a different technology there are few stations run by the government of India owned All india radio.Only few limited cars are with DRM.Only one Delhi base company make DRM sets but quality is not up to the mark.Now one Hyderabad based company have also started making SDR but that for very high end only for defence forces.Only small manufacturers are making AM ,FM and SW radio.Except FM AM and SW slowly dyeing in all over world and India is no exception.

What should be ideal specifications of DC adaptor to run this radio. It is operated with 2 AA cells that is 3volts. But for adaptor it mentions 5volts. Any idea? Also what should be the mah of the adaptor?

​Inside it there must be a chip transforming 5 volt into 3 volt. 5 v DC is given as mobile chargers are 5 volt. One can use a mobile charger of old Nokia type.
