Crazy loyal Springsteen fan here (what’s WRONG with all you commenters who are “not a fan of Springsteen”? 😉) and I absolutely LOVED this cover. You are each and all totally amazing!
Guessing they share two qualities...1) They've heard maybe at most 10 of the 250+ songs Bruce has penned... and 2) They've never experienced Bruce/ESB LIVE. I've attended 30+ shows since 2000 alone ,and that's not even close to average for Bruce fans I see repeatedly at shows. There's a reason people come back again and again...
Springsteen needs to keep his political views to himself. Personally, having heard way more of his music than I would like, I can admit he had 3 or 4 songs 30- 40 yrs ago that were decent.
I was never a Bruce fan until I saw one of his tours. I left a believer and I will never walk away. Live changes everything. One of the greatest artists of our age -- and until you see him and his band on one of their tours, you may never make the 'connection'.
Thank God we have true musicians like this during these very trying times. I feel that God put a little slice of heaven in each musician's heart to allow the rest of us to get an occasional peek. Keep being yourselves. We're all richer for it.

I feel like it's been forever since the last time we were blessed with another WOTE cover song... and as a New Jersey native and lifelong resident, I not only 100% approve of this one, but absolutely LOVE it! 🔥🙌🏼🔥 Fun Fact: Bruce Springsteen's son went to the same school as me in the late 90s (although he was much younger than I was). We would often see Bruce walking around the hallways, at team games, and various school events. In fact, one time after school, I played flag football with him! He lived right across the street from the school, and I went trick or treating at his house a couple times during Halloween.

Considering he wasn't known for his music at the time and was still a kid figuring himself out I doubt much about your school experience would have changed if you went there. As someone who has seen Springsteen 4 (or 5) times in concert, I can say that this is one of the only Springsteen covers I've done that does justice to the original. And I think that that's *because* you sound so different from the OG. *Great* job, WOTE.
Really love how you approach you covers these days. Still using innovative instruments and arrangements, but with less novelty so you’re able to focus more on the core of the song. Novelty got you noticed, musicianship,talent, and execution is extending your reach, and it’s fantastic to see. The way you’ve matured as a group is so nice to see.

It amazes me every time i watch a new wote video and the guy on guitar and the lady on banjo mimic another artist's manner of singing but also make it totally original and their own. I enjoy singing myself and it's so cool and interesting how they use their voices.

I must admit I was a little skeptic when I started this video but you quickly changed that. This is an amazing cover and I feel like this is the perfect sitting around a fireplace version (because that’s how I enjoy the original most). At night with good friends, a good beer, around a little fireplace.
