Someone asked me to tell about this series and I did) The series is very interesting, though not without its problems. Let me know if you would like a sequel.
I totally remember this series. I recall watching it throughout the summer- it was one of the first things I ever watched on demand because we’d never had that service before.
If they wanted to be realistic, they would devote 5 min to the hazard, then 10 seasons of the government trying to figure out what laws they need to pass to pretend they are doing something
the landlines wouldn't be affected by emp at the distance from Denver to middle of western Kansas. Can't even see the mountains. also you wouldn't be able to see a mushroom cloud at that distance either
I always wonder why they don’t dry the meat so it can last longer instead of eating it all right away when food isn’t scarce yet. It’s this lack of foresight that could cause a bad situation to be worse later on.
It's really annoying whenever I watched a tv show or a movie, and seeing familiar faces in them. But can't remember their names. After that, I couldn't concentrate anymore for the remainder of the show or movie because my mind kept wandering off. Trying to remember who & where I've seen them before. And this thing happens a lot to me.
IDK about the series or anything else here, just wondering how come there isn't much radiation problem here despite the nuke being exploded so close. radiation cloud taking decades to reach (they don't just pass over) the lady covered a big walking (the birds she saw was at the day break at earliest) distance and the last leg of it by car, yet her BF reaches her by car in a much shorter time, (she went to batrhoom and took slightly longer) too much hollywood
it was explained in the series that the town of Jericho was in a particular area where radiation wasn't likely to fall. Years before the bombs fell a company did an assessment about nuclear detonations and the best places to survive. Location, location, location.
Hear about that airforce that handed missile carrying drones over to A.I. and the A.I. ended up aiming the missiles at the airforce that handed them them 😂😂😂
😂so let me get this straight you buried all the people that couldnt fit in the bunker 🤣 also i got questions how did they survive the radiation 😂that would linger there for 2 weeks or more not 1 night then 😂 then how is any of yall tech working everything should be knocked back to the stone age 😂😂😂
how did it end as i got bored with long drawn out stories and so many sub stories that in the end you dont care just how do they finish thing .. solve thing .. get on with it.
I like drama scripts that didn't focus on drama based out of stupid conflicts. Unfortunately, they don't do well coz dumb people love to watch mindless content more.
I was unable to watch this glue even one episode. Even your boiled down version i had to skip, to not get entirely bored and switch channel. Can you plz make a 5 minute total of the actual story, without all the distractions?
I wouldn't worry too much about that request. You have a ready audience and I found this a great show - much better conflicts than similar shows such as Under the Dome.
@@malahammer Really. I tried. This stuff, is usually my type of food, but Jericho was so bottom lame, that i could not stand it. It's a great story. Full of mystery and tech and secrets and... they did nothing from this gift. I wish this story would get a second try.
@@brendanh8193 Because The Dome had it's plot based on magic. There is only so much you can do with it. Jericho is clean disaster, but with the best type of disaster, nukes🥳 You have all the raw feelings, that made The Walking Death such a success. They had the Dr. Quinn moment, which i genuinely enjoyed, but a minute before and after only wooden mockups of the characters walked through the scenery😩

I would very much like to have you do the rest of it......please 🥺
Yes p,ease😊
Yes.
It’s congress not parliament, also 911 is pronounced Nine-One-one not nine hundred eleven.
More
I still recall when this show was cancelled, lots of fans sent the studio bags of peanuts for being "nuts" by cancelling the show. 20 tons of peanuts!
Would love the rest of the series recapped! Great recap.

I'd love to watch more of this series' recap.
Definitely an interesting series, hated that it got cancelled out of no where but, during that time that was happening to a lot of interesting shows.
07 writers strike
I *think* there was a comic book continuation of the series.
@@ranwolf76 I'm going to have to see if I can find it.
Very true.
New Subscriber Here & I Love The Voice Behind This Recap🤝🏾
Thanks and welcome
I enjoyed much of this series and was disappointed when they abruptly canceled it.
same
It was better than prison break
Thank you!
You're welcome!
These hazard shows always more about hardship and human relations than the impact of hazard itself
If they wanted to be realistic, they would devote 5 min to the hazard, then 10 seasons of the government trying to figure out what laws they need to pass to pretend they are doing something
@@Sylvershade Hahah, right
finally! this show needs a new season
8/10 series, why they cancel it?
this is a good series.
Nice series 👌
Thanks for the recap ❤
Glad you liked it
So this is America and no one is carrying a gun while knowing there's a nuclear explosion!
Great show, it's a shame that it was canceled.

they should have said it was from the one that detonated at Lawrence, KS [target was Kansas City].
At 26s, you have Stanley's character name and actor name text overlay being the same as Jake (Skeet). Also, 1m5s.
I saw that thort i was just seeing things
Very Very good show
It was not Santiago, but San Diego.
I loved this show!!!
Oh, come on man! You left us hanging!
120kt bomb radiation would be negligible, let alone dangerous by the TIME it got to that area. it's 200+ miles to KS border from Denver.
I always wonder why they don’t dry the meat so it can last longer instead of eating it all right away when food isn’t scarce yet. It’s this lack of foresight that could cause a bad situation to be worse later on.
Lol yea i think the film crew starved to death too
next part?
I doubt it. Very low audience interest(
Very good can’t wait for more
i case anyone had it stuck in their head, the red headed woman was Arnie's partner in kindergarten cop.

Please recap counterpart s2
Jericho was an interesting though the characters don’t always need to be pivotal in saving humanity
cloud of toxic chemicals?! 🤦♂
What is this called please let me know
Jericho 2006
The nukes were in several trucks, not missiles.
interesting show, shame that just like any seemingly good shows it gets cancelled

too much hollywood

glad you stopped using ai voices
How was that a nuke if nothing happened after it exploded 🤯?? It wasn't a nuke explosion either
They were very far from the detonation. But close enough to witness it.

Yesssurrr
*Congress NOT Parliament!!
saw it ... there was no science at all... terrible.. then it was cancelled.

This channel needs to actually have someone proof read his script as his grasp of what he narrates is often incorrect.
i would like to see "the 100" and not the new shitty one
