Love Jinjer, thank you! They definitely have jazz influences, among so many others. Vlad, trained in classical piano, wrote most of the instrument music for Wallflowers (nine out of the eleven songs) and I heard someone pointing out some structural elements in Vortex are really similar to some structural elements in classical music, but then Tatiana adds the vocals and it seems to me like she's pouring jazzy metal on top of classical influenced metal to make classical jazz metal, but those aren't the only influences for Vlad, Tatiana and Roman and Eugene, so I just call it Jinjer metal! Can't wait for the rest of the album! 🤘
Eugene has floated the possibility of a jazz album someday. That was when Tati seemed to be feeling burned out on growls, but these days she's been doubling down on her growling skills, injecting her lowest gutturals into more of their songs, and it appears massively improving her ability to switch from growls to belting if I'm seeing the Hellfest performance of this song right, and even compromising on the way she grips the mic so weaksauce mumble-growlers can't say that the only reason she kicks their asses is cupping the mic haha.
Best band !!! Great song ! Great reaction ! So cool!
Jinjer would be the first to say they have many genre influences.
Yup, they do have Jazz influences. Tati has said in an interview that if she wasn't a metal vocalist, she would definitely be a jazz vocalist.
Love Jinjer, thank you!

Jazz, reggae, metalcore influences at a minimum.
