You know that you can plant something here, and within days something will sprout? It is a country which CAN feed itself. It's the world's 2nd biggest citrus fruit exporter and 15% of the world's wines. The mines are all running dry now. But we should not be in poverty and hunger because of the politics. And absurdly - all of South Africa's universities are in the top 1000 out of 50 000 world universities. Like the Boks - some of us are still hoping. I hope you mean that the country can be helped better from outside.

Nothing amazing about the Bok's win. NZ played much better rugby than the Boks. The fact that they could score behind the "tri-line" is more than sufficient proof of that. The Boks could copy that. Winning a game with four penalty kicks says absolutely nothing about your talent, your craftiness, and being able to outplay your opponent. When the Boks can do that against a team of the calibre of NZ, they can say they "earned" the win. In this case, the better team on the day was NZ. Period.

Smile because they got a penalty kick rather than a try awarded by playing advantage? Because as a South African I couldn’t help but be furious at the ref taking back that try and giving you a penalty kick.
Also, Kolisi really didn’t do anything. Etzebeth captained the team every game. Watch replays he is the one who spoke to the team before and after every game. The only thing Kolisi did in the final was get a yellow card for exactly the same thing your captain got a red card for.

Not deserved to be honest. Kick 3 by Pollard, the ref on air at the time admitted he shouldn’t have awarded the penalty just before Pollard kicked. And the try that was taken back 50 meters just to give a penalty kick to the all blacks… he should’ve played advantage and allowed the try

You saw those two black people at every match, the guy with the hair net and one tooth, and the woman with the face paint… the ones in the front rows? The ones who paid just over £150 000 to attend the entire world cup… Those were paid for by our tax payers. This world cup didn’t do anything to change poverty except for making people poorer here.
Also, “inspiring africans” isn’t a thing here because 11 of the 15 were white and Kolisi was off for 10 minutes for headbutting a guy, which made the team 80% white for a while, and the final team in the last 20 minutes was 90% white. Yet the south africans will only celebrate kolisi.
SA rugby will find a way to make this game and cup a racial issue you’ll see. More division will follow this result

Agree. This game wouldn't have been as exciting without the All Blacks even though our team won. This game could have gone either way. I love our Bokke but I am also a huge All Blacks fan and always have been
