The reason the vocals sounds weird is because @JAYBeatz lifted the vocals from the original track and placed them on a Cater 2 U instrumental. Since he didn’t have the original file, the vocal quality is reduced when removing the instruments from After Hours. A lot of his mixes have this issue, but from what I know it can’t be avoided.

There’s a lot of acapella videos of singers on the internet where people stripped the instrumental leaving the vocals sounding kinda hazy.
