followed all the steps but when I get to adding the collabora app at 6:05 there is no "collabora online app", there is only collabora online - built in code server". this guide is already outdated :(
EDIT: the app is called next cloud office now
EDIT2: permissions for external storage are broken, documents from external storage can't be opened. Also, for some reason it constantly redirects to an ip even when arriving at the page using a domain name.
Excellent video, keep up the good work! But I do face an incovenient, the Collabora Online app is not there for some reason. Some comments say that it has become NextCloud Office, but as far as I can tell that's an entirely separate project, although it says that it's made in collaboration with Collabora, pun intended. Some help and clarification would be of incredible value.
Excellent video ! Kudos 👏
You guys skipped too many steps for this to be near a real and secure install. Like how you don't go over how to do proper certificates
You should probably use a VPN like Tailscale for that or a reverse proxy. Saves you from opening ports in your firewall and should be more secure.
Worked fine first. Now showing: You don't have permission to access this resource.Server unable to read htaccess file, denying access to be safe
Docker would be amazing feature for Truenas Core!
Hello. When I look for the Collabora app within Truenas, Collabora 6.2 does not appear, only 2 CODE SERVER options appear. Can you help me?
What are the steps to set up the Cron Job? I cannot save the NextCloud settings with Cron checked off and cannot start Collabora without it it seems like. Getting errors like "[EINVAL]" and "Not A String"
Got lots of errors after finishing the setup with little to no explanation on how to troubleshoot/resolve them :|
How am I supposed to access Nextcloud externally on TrueNAS Scale?
why I get report "Error: failed to create subPath directory for volumeMount "nextcloud-data" of container "nextcloud"
this is heavily outdated, the TrueNAS Scale UI looks different now
This one is on our list to update!
please upload a video with duplicati install plugin i tried but i failed
Hello! Thank you for the suggestion, we may make a tutorial if there is enough demand for it!
how to access outside of the network?
no need to search for collabra since it´s not there. and just a handful of apps anyway so no need to search
If I do these steps in the video, will I be able to access Nextcloud from any where in the world ?
NOPE, atleast not securely. Not sure why they skip so many of the useful security settings
@@thibaultmol Bonjour ! Conseille tu une vidéo qui explique les paramètres de sécurité ? Merci ❤️
Yes. Excellent Video. But I am facing a different issue.
After installation when opening Collabora web portal the default/changed password do not work for user:admin..
Could you help?
Could you help with maybe using truenas shell commands to check and set the required credentials?
I also faced the same issue. Did you find any fix?
Hi!
Can you make a thread on the TrueNAS Forums detailing the issue with logging in?
www.truenas.com/community/
my colabora is not gueting Active, it's an eternal Deploy
Nextcloud data directory is work with SMB Share?
this video is very outdated, should probably delete it because none of this is even relevant anymore. You should make a new video maybe using the current setup steps.
TrueNAS Scale is totally broken!
We're sorry to hear that your TrueNAS SCALE install is broken.
Have you tried to searching/posting on the TrueNAS Community Forums to see if anyone has come across the same issue that you are facing?
No specifics? No help.
Certain technical things are not for rookies.
Wendell over at Level1techs posted a video about his issues. He spun up a Debian VM and installed Docker.
I was on CORE and pass to scale and i regret, yes it's broken
