What to look out for when washing and caring for merino wool
► Overview of all tips:
1. Hang to dry after washing
2. Wash after intense sport activities
3. Observe care labels
⇨ Note: Use the wool wash cycle. Merino wool is very sensitive - on a wool wash cycle the clothes are exposed to less friction and are therefore cleaned more gently.
4. Observe washing instructions
⇨ Note: Shirts should be turned inside out before washing, but fleece items should not. The latter have delicate wool on the inside and robust polyester on the outside. When turned right side out, the wool is exposed to less friction and is better protected.
5. Combat & avoid clothes moths
⇨ Note: One effective way to tackle moths is to freeze your clothes. After 7 days at -18°C, moths in all stages of development (eggs, larvae, etc.) will die.
6. Remove stains
