You do, I think you get it from Timeless river, but getting the timing and correct usage out of reflect can be daunting, I always take on the optional bosses at the earliest possible point in the story, and oh man Larxene tests my patience :p
Unfortunately, by the time you first fight her, you don't have enough MP to spam and need some better timing to use it properly.

I only recognized all of them because I’ve grown up with KH and I’ve played all the games so many times that I would personally be ashamed of myself if I didn’t recognize them haha
Each member of the Organization has a distinct weapon and a different fighting style, so it would make sense to whom each weapon it belongs to.
What I had a hard time before was the numbers and titles of the members. I used to keep switching Xaldin and Xigbar's numbers and at one point, forgot what Zexion's title was and almost gave him Vexen's....I eventually memorized all of them later.
Obnoxious Blue I mean no offense but that just sounds like a YOU thing. Every member has a completely unique element, weapon, and style. They’re all incredibly recognizable to anyone who’s played through COM.

People who say she's easy, better question do u play critical mode, all org fights in crit mode are threats, besides Demyx.
AntiHeroVisions True, as long as you have reflect and guarding down he goes down fairly easily.
She's easy once you gain reflect but yeah on critical she can be tough.
Very true but Demyx is a threat due to how annoying it is taking care of the water clones in the small time you are given

Final Form is better, only because, for WHATEVER reason, Final Form+Firaga doesn't affect her Revenge counter.

Because she's really fast and it was their first time fighting the boss. Not like YOU'VE played the game before.
In my experience, I fought Lexaeus before Larxene....and through that, I learned very quickly how to approach elemental enemies.

Wait are any of these Org fights in the original KH2? I just played through KH2 on a ps2 emulator and only remember fighting some of the org members through the story.
Larxene is only in Final Mix.
Jimmy John As he said, Absent Silhouettes are exclusive to Final Mix+, along with Lingering Will in Disney Castle, the Cavern of Remembrance in Radiant Garden, the fight with Roxas in the World That Never Was and Mushroom XIII mini games spread through all(?) the worlds. The Absent Silhouettes are Zexion (Olympus Coliseum), Vexen (Agrabah), Lexaeus (Twilight Town), Larxene (gee, I wonder) and Marluxia (Beast’s Castle).

I haven't played Final Mix, but I'm surprised they made her so difficult, she wasn't that hard in CoM
It was the transition of the card system to the more combative style of KH that made the fight better. Plus, she's a member of the Organization, she's supposed to be difficult. Making her way too easy in Re:CoM was a disappointment.
BTW, she isn't even that hard. The only things that threw me off guard were her sneak attacks, placement of clones, and continuous spams of lightning (she spams way more than Donald). Took me only 5 times before beating her.
Optional bosses always have higher difficulty.

actually,she is really insane in com once she hits the last healthbar(even tho repliku4 was worse overall) .the problem is that everyone just broke her before she was able to do stuff(i know because i fought her on level 1 and i didnt beat her.)also,you get to fight her fairly earlygame in one game and lategame in another,of course the earlygame appearance would stand out more in terms of difficulty,even if the character actually is just as strong or actually weaker.
Her absent silhouette isn't actually too bad it's just that they didn't prepare for the fight and tried it when they first got to Port Royale
why were so many of them lagging? were they playing on ps2 or something?

The funny part is that Larxene's data battle is one of the easier ones.
I actually beat her after only 5 times.
I felt really bad before I defeated her.
