- On this second episode (2 of 3) of our Dirk Hartog Series, we arrive at our campsite at the top of the island called Turtle Bay.
Chris has an amazing time spearfishing multiple times a day and catches some delicious fish, including a big shark mackerel, parrot fish and baldchin groper.
We have the beach to ourselves, we spot incredible marine life everyday... Camping on a semi-deserted island is really special!
Stay tuned for the third and last episode of this serie dropping next Friday!

You folks must be living the dream, well done! Epic footage, love the videos. Look forward to seeing more!
Blue Cod from back home, has to be THE best eating fish around,i would be craving burgers and steaks after eating that much fish like you both.
The underwater shots plus the music selection = Top Notch Quality Video! Amazing guys! Thanks for sharing.
The quality of the videos is increasing exponentially. Last episode was a delight to the eyes with the drone footage. Now we went along with Chris' spearfishing. Truly amazing. Cheers from Brazil.
Stoked to hear it! Thanks Luiz
Hey guys good vid quick spear fish tip if your not already already keep the jelly rubbers in the fridge stops them cracking and drying out. Doing well though for just starting. Can’t wait to see you get further north. A pump up stand up paddle board is good for diving also instead of a kayak
Hey Tim, that's an awesome tip about the rubbers. I'll start doing that. Haha that's crazy about the SUP! Do you anchor it somehow when you jump in for a dive? Cheers
The OutFit yeah most have a sport for a leg strap just use para cord and tie it on to the reef saves the stuff around with an anchor and you can throw your catch in a esky or container works mint saves heading in and out I was never a fan of a catch bag(shark bait) much. The missus can paddle anyway while you kill the pig.
Love it guys! Enjoy the hats from Brodie ;)
So stoked! Nice hats but!
We can't get over how many beautiful fish are over there! Can't wait for part 3!
Derita loves this video..She now wants learn to spearfish..lol.We love the shots..Ange is really aspiring my wife. She is a real trooper..

Ange makes me feel cold! Haha. Bloody love the work guys.
Absolutely incredible spot, what amazing sea life and fishing! So many "WOW!" moments! Thanks, as always, for sharing your adventures.
Thanks for watching guys, we are so glad you liked it! It was a beautiful untouched island that's for sure, add it to your bucket list :) thank you for the support!

Right between the eyes, that was impressive.
Another great video, what an amazing journey guys! Say hi to the General and looking forward to the next!
Such an amazing view, so jealous. Glad you were okay in the beginning!
Another great episode. So, so jealous sitting here in the middle of a cold Melbourne winter. When you invested in the spearfish gear I was thinking are they going to get the use out of it.....you are certainly giving it a workout. Looking forward to the next
Thanks mate! I had my apprehensions aswell, but so far so good!
Awesome video guys, the fact that your were in pretty extreme sea conditions and still went out and had life experiences, most people these days just sit on the couch in front of their TVs Good on Ange for going back out.......well done, great video, Chris ...good to see you getting some decent size fish bro
Cheers Mark! Heck yeah, she likes a challenge! The best experiences happen outside of our comfort zones right
@@TheOutFit absolutely....
Great vid guys, very enjoyable 👍
nice! Your videos are getting better and better. Good job :)
Thanks a lot, that is so good to hear!
Loving the video guys good work
Thanks for watching Chris!
Great content. How warm was the sea? I'm heading to the island this weekend for four nights. Can't wait.
It was pretty good! Have an awesome time man - looks like your weather will be ace
gr8 vid guys
On DHI, the Shark mackerel & trevally are the bait! You don’t want to eat the bait!
No better eating fish in the ocean than blue bone groper / black spot tusk fish, bald chin groper.
Hey mate great video !
One Question
Do you have to book the campsite every sigle night or can we just stay where we like and set a camp?
Thanks a lot! You have to pre-book the campsites every single night.
@@TheOutFit cheers mate planning the trip!!
amazing guys.
what drone do you use ?
Thanks! We use a Mavic Pro 2
TEMPER TEMPER ROMEO.
The dead turtles are the unlucky ones that don't make it back to the water after exhaustion, predation or flipping over
your on the right track with baldies but reef parrotfish are not good eating...
I really disagree and think parrotfish taste great. Each to their own though
