OVERLANDING SHARK BAY & DIRK HARTOG ISLAND - Epic Secret 4x4 Track in Western Australia |Ep 23|

- On this episode, we leave Kalbarri and head North towards Shark Bay.
The plan is to reach Steep Point (Western-most point of Australia) and stay the night at Shelter Bay before driving onto our barge to Dirk Hartog island the next morning. But things don't always go according to plan as the only road to access Steep Point is closed.
We take you along the journey to Dirk Hartog Island. Be prepared for a lot of corrugations and some epic 4x4 scenery all the way!
Next week's episode will be our life on the island. We show you our little deserted private beach, our base for some great spearfishing, and some incredible marine-life!

What an epic journey and amazing place to end up in (on!). It just goes show how worthwhile it is to take the time to chat to the locals to learn about their backyard and occasionally be lucky enough to unlock the odd secret gem or two.

My wife and I are planning next year to ship our jeep gladiator to Australia and explore for a month or so. Would love to meet up one day and say hello. Anyway hope to see more content and keep exploring.

Speed causes the corrugations? Try going a bit quicker (on highways) and watch the ride smooth out.

Hi Guys, love your video.. i will be going to Dirk Hartog Island next month. corrugation to steep point is it really bad? any nuts or bolt come loose?? how much fuel do you guy use from last fuel stop to steep point, DHI and back ?? Do you have Long range tank in your jeep ? any tips ??

id keep it below 2,000 rpm mate hahah if you're doing 110 at 20,000rpm somethings wrong
