My question would be why was the storage unit suspicious? Wouldnt that be the opposite of suspicious? If you were the criminal here, you would want to sell it asap and not store it in the unit... unless there is some exploit with them? Tin Foil Hat moment?

not valve's problem you got API scammed, the only solution to that is don't log in your steam on any fishy websites not fake websites lol or clear your API key and change your password, email, turn family view and triple check before confirming your trade offer as bots can't copy the steam level and the year

I remember that I attempted to be a Team Fortress 2 trader years ago but realized how crap the market and the people within is so I can imagine how worse the CSGO experience could actually be. Common Steam Support L. We're switching to CS2 but the Steam Support still manages to find new ways to be as infuriating and unhelpful as ever. After the classic bot replies, now comes the "we're right, you're wrong, stfu" followed by the lamest apology that feels like "cry us a river, build yourself a bridge and get over with it". I can't see anywhere in this situation where the Support was cautious and reasonable, or just "Supportive" about their actions towards Hobshy, prior and after the trade. If that were me, I would be fuming and would really have been tempted to just yolo it and answer with a "Fuck you then", but given Hobshy's status I'm glad he was able to get most of this fixed.

see i had one of my old steam accounts locked for a charge back, i got it unlocked after 13 years but before it was unlocked i was told it was used to scam people out of there steam accounts and the account would not be unlocked, after i told them the account had been locked for 10+ years from a charge back so the account cant have been used for that and i asked for dates on when this happen and for more info on it. the next email i got from them told me the account was unlocked and i was just to reset the password lol. so it seems steam do odd things at times.

From 2016-2018 i traded skins up to a Karambit Crimson web FT with a great pattern. Got high as a stupid 18 year old and got scammed. I've sent an email every week since and just keep getting the same "uhhh but muh economy" despite the skin just sitting in a trade banned account. I hate valve
