my worst mistake was selling cobblestone packages for 20 bucks right before valve removed them from circulation and changed the major drop system.
Mine too, sold like 3 of then maybe for 50 euro summarised
dont feel to bad literally no way you could have predicted valve making the changes

In Team Fortress, we dont have different lots in steam market for different unusual effects (Like Doppler phases in csgo).
So, sometimes people who unbox an unusual hat, dont know how much the effect actually worth.
And just list it for a cheapest price or even buy-order price.
For example, once i made a lot of buy orders for a cheapest unusual hats (for around ~$15 each), and someone sold me a "Big Elfin Deal with a Scorching Flames" which is worth at least $110.

My friend was gonna sell a bayonet worth 180$ at the time. He forgot to put a 0 at the end, ending up with selling it for 18$ instead. Then he was like "fuck" and bought keys and opened cases, ending up with only blues. xD
That's sad. One the other hand I had a friend who always got a classified every time he opened a bunch of cases (like -7-10). And it all began when he unboxed an ak47 wasteland rebel ST back in 2015 (it was like 90€), then sold it and the next day he unboxed within 15 cases a Bayo Tiger Tooth (350€+). Though he gave the 5 of us an ak47+ awp FT Redline combo.
I've opened like 30-40 cases in total and only got a single classified and a single statrak and it was the very same weapon (p90 cold blood). Needless I stopped long time ago, I only pay for the operation and use the stars for drops. Usually end up with 1 military and get roughly 70-80% of the money back until I sell at higher price later. Best so far was when I got quite a bunch of consumer grade drops ack in Shattered Web, that amount to like 100-150€ in total now.

How can a "nice house" cost 20k? If it's in the middle of nowhere and has to be completely renovated it would still cost at least 50k where I'm from
you probably have never been to one ov those villas. there way better than you think.
Most of the more recent low price market price is probably because even how expensive an item is there is a limit between before you have to confirm your action on your phone.
i didnt lose a lot of money but still i got my first red skin and it was red statrack glock and it was worth around 35 euros and i sold it Somehow for 0,35 Cents, i still got no idea how i did it but yes i was really sad as it was my first good skin i got from a case.

last few sentences are very accurate, and also kind of the reason why I don't own any playskins anymore, it sucks so much that there's a *LOT* of high end skins out there banned away in bots invetories and in those whom cheat, I wonder if things would really be this much expensive if those people simply grew up a brain and decided to not scam people and/or cheat.

My first fought was that video will be about weird duplicated items on steam market, like Sticker | Merietta (Holo) and Sticker | Merietta(Holo) without gap, where one is sold for 1,50 eur and another for 12 eur.

Worst mitakes by pain scale:
1st: Trading a AWP | Snake Camo for other shit skins that still has no value today, while the Snake Camo got up to a fairly high price.
2nd: Trading a AK-47 | Redline StatTrak FT (0.16) with 4x MLG Columbus 2016 Astralis Holo's for other shit skins that has no value today, while the Redline ST FT got up to a fairly high price.
3rd: Selling my SG 553 | Bulldozer in 2019 for half the price of what is worth now.

My biggest mistake is when jackpots were possible to play i won around 1,200 cases, many of them were breakout vanguard phonex etc. and they cost 0,03-0,05$. Now they are around 0,5-4$ It is my pain in the ass that i decided to play with them and loss all of them
the reason why this happens i can bet is mostly because of people in foreign countries trying to put the items up for sale in Dollars when their client defaults to their home currency.
I accidentally sold a skin for $3 instead of $30 because I missed a zero. Was really mad at the time, but definitely not as much of an L as these.

Some people sell their skins at low prices for various reasons. One, to mess with the market. Two, to get rid of their skins quickly either because they are addicted to the game and need it gone or to get rid of a friends inventory. Three, to make someone's day. So, you never know.

I remember reading somewhere that scammers sell some skins for dirty cheap when they manage to access someone account and can't trade them to their accounts. Some do it for spite and back in the day (before putting an order was available) they set up a bot to snatch it.
In current times, I don't know. i think some people may trade them for steam wallet+cash so they sell them just enough above the max order. Why steam wallet? Idk maybe someone want the Index without giving their info to Valve and set a dummy address for postage.

@@VENAZ It depends on the account. There is some sort of flag/ restriction depending on the account behaviour. Though I've read some people being able to lift it after discussing with the support.

I have like 50 cents steam wallet
and i placed buy orders of multiple expensive items and hoped that someone would accidentally sold their items at the wrong price
ST FN m4a1s cryrex, with a k14 reason holo by the mag. Sold it for an extra $30 at the time. Though I got it off a buy order, so I didn't make the worst deal of the day.
I had a 3x kato 14 holo urban rubble (I can only find it in my trade history, it's not on floatdb) that I got from a lounge bot back in the day, I sold it a few months later with a bunch of other stuff in what was probably not even a profitable trade ignoring the katos. Its one of my biggest regrets in csgo (just because its lost forever now). I guess we were never to know the value it ended up being but still. It does seem really obvious now.
I'm genuinely impressed that I've managed to turn my £300 inventory into a £300 inventory 8 years later. I've made so many absolutely horrible trades over the years that people would start calling me out for bs if I listed them off. If you ever want to profit from csgo investing, just look at my inventory and don't do that.
