I’ve watched this all the way through. I have a better idea of how to disassemble and reassembled my carbs. Thanks. But now I’m also hearing that background song in my sleep. Lol
If you ever have to rebuild this again can you please show what you are pulling out of where? This is the only video that's even a little helpful but there is a lot I can't see. When you disassembled the bowl were there any O-rings around any of the jets? Or crush washers?
Good Job! What were the numbers Stamped on the Needle Set. Honda says its part number 16012-448-004, but would like to verify the number stamped on the needle. Thanks. Needle set is the part that is screwed into the slider.
All those seals should be changed. Especially the one in the axel of the butterfly valve that control the throttle. Other wise the air will be sucked through there and the vacuum won't be made in the jets logically gasoline won't be sucked and than motorcycle will not run. That is why some motorcycles only run on choke. That is the only way to reduce air flow and increase vacuum to get gasoline in the piston. 😃
In the 28:22 time of the video I see that you did not put the rubber plug in the middle hole prior to putting the top on. I am wondering if I need this because one is fine and the other went a little mushy and damaged pulling it out. I guess I will leave it out too on one. Great job BTW
I’ve got a 78 cb400 with vb carbs on it. Looks exactly like the one in the video, but mine had caps on the middle hole in the float bowl. Are these caps needed?
Can you do a tutorial on this exact carb cause I cleaned mine and now my bike won't idle without getting choked and there's a lot more vibration when choked. Also won't pass 4k rpms when revving

Excelente trabajo!! Estoy por hacer lo mismo en mi cb400t 81. Muchas gracias!
Groovy music, but I could use some explanation of what you're doing.
Very helpful thanks broski
What about felt o-rings on the shaft, or this model doesn't have them!?
minute 28:22 didn't fit the idle diffuser caps. minute 29:43 didn't fit the small air valve seals I don't think that carburetor works properly
The CM came with 2 different carburetors. In the Us it's slightly different.
Where are u located ….need a rebuild on a CB400T 1978?
What would you charge to do mine?? Same ones, 78 cb400t
I would forget how to put it back togther! Lol

Where did you get those floats

Adjust your idle mixture screws
I would have many parts left over!
26:50 what steps? After spring washer or o ring?
@@andyor3114 First washer then o ring
Hello,
What type of product do you use in your ultrasonic pool? Thank you for your video
Only water and Dishwashing liquid. Think there are better Produkts.
I'm sorry guys but I'm not see on the tube O-rings on side by side of carburetors...
Min 37 can't understand where the spring goes!
song?
notice you didn't touch the float seat at all is there a way to remove them, Pressed in or screwed in?
It's just a pin. If you're rebuilding it, use one of your old needles to push the pin through. It might need some solid taps to get it out.
What kind of polish did you use with the dremel to make it shinier?
aluminium polish
I took apart my carb and the one of the floats has fluid in it. Its sealed too so I cang get it out. Is that normal?
You shouldn't have gas in your floats.
where did you get the rebuild kit
Don't use one at this time. Only clean it for stock.
