I dont agree with that. Coaches wont pay any money to coach somebody since they PROBABLY pay their food, rent, taxes etc. from giving advice and high value info on how to fight. Its crazy to think this would work on top tier coaches. Maybe some coach who wants exposure but known coaches... They would say to go and fock off

No joke, never heard of his trainer, but after the fight i heard him talk (i think on joe rogans channel or something). Very smart experienced person who understands the game. Very underrated guy.
I Think Mike Perry between rounds was working out the flow and action in his own mind and in real time without a corner derailing that thought plan, this was the key to that win. I also think the NO CROWD scenario allowed him to smooth the emotions out between rounds and focus that emotional energy.
Perry will forever be a legend if for nothing other than his interviews and sound bites

Mike Perry was a winner tonight and it was GREAT to see! As for strength, he says he's not a big guy for the 185 pound weight class. But just check out his Forearms and that's a clear indication of his natural strength. He's stocky like a Bull. Happy to see him win. And his Corner chick did a great job!

Corner Men really help in the event you are facing a tough opponent. If everything is going good and you are dominating the fight, then no need for a good corner advice. I hope he gets at least another person in there in the event he is matched with a more dangerous person.

He gets beat down by Mike Perry, Randy Brown, and Diego Sanchez, these are men who don't even make the top 10 and he loses to them convincingly. Perry he wasn't extremely far off but Diego/Brown dominated him like he was an amateur.

And hes a legit contender again. Probably fight a ranked opponent next. A win after that and some proper call outs might see him fighting for the belt in a year.

I understand this because in high school I had a wrestling coach similar to Matt Hughes and although he gave me great instructions during the match in the back of my mind I always wanted to wrestle hard so he wouldn't be upset. I always enjoyed freestyle wrestling because I was just wrestling for me. Sometimes coaches don't understand that you are trying to conserve your energy in a tactical way and coach you like you are doing a work out.

Perry was working out in Lubbock, TX. I saw him out at a bar one night and it blew my mind, then I looked up his IG and saw he was training with some other MMA fighters here in Lubbock.
