with eps running for 70mins and the show being marketed to mainstream audiences there are limits to what can be shown without frightening off advertising clients and others. still, this show was very brave in showing what it did. not so sure what we should think about all the signs of toxic relationship patterns but then again it seems unlikely anyone would try to copy this in RL

I honestly don't care if their relationship is titled BL or bromamce or whatever. Their chemistry is insane and they were unarguably very close, and that's that. I think the series is perfect for letting everyone come to their own conclusion. For me, intense moments often convey so more feelings than a kiss in slow-mo with some romantic music ever could, but that's just me😅 and there were a lot of pretty intense moments, so I'm more than satisfied 😊 However, I do understand that a series like this involving a kiss between male leads would've been huge.

throughout the episodes, we see Yohan gradually falling for Gaon, and Gaon being interested, a tad bit obsessed, suspicious and him just downright fighting what he is starting to feel for the man because Yohan had such grey ambiguous morals. In the last episode, we see Gaon - once just dipping his toe into the whirpool of his feelings for Yohan - diving head first into what they had. In the last episode, We see Gaon in love.
I am not sure about Gaon's feelings towards Yohan, because it seems quite ambiguous. But Yohan had fallen for Gaon long ago, probably when he cooked for him and broke down his walls. Yohan looked shaken up by him .
The most hilarious part of this series was that at some point they openly became basically a sugar daddy/sugar baby relationship and almost everyone seemed to be okay with that

This is literally one of the best dramas ever. Like, for fifteen episodes we had them together, on the same boat, but misunderstandings kept them apart. And in sixteen, when the misunderstandings were cleared, they met with each other only to be separated for ever.
This was a great song for them. I miss them so much! They were powerful together. Their off screen friendship added a deeper chemistry to their onscreen relationship. This is the only show I always say is a BL without being labeled a BL. ;-)

I know he technically likes a girl in here but I swear the writers knew what they were doing, because the way ti was acted out I feel like the two actors got secret scripts and knew they were supposed to be in love. At the end when he thinks that Yohan has died, he is wrecked like a lover distraught over their lost soulmate. It's amazing.
This is definitely the best TDJ edit i've ever seen. From the music and the way the scenes were put together, everything was perfect. I don't know if it was just me but that part of the scene where Gaon says "I will go with you" felt almost like a confession. The way he said it and his expression and the way Yohan reacted as well just made it seem like there was so much more to it. Also at 2:14 he was smiling and had tears in his eyes. He looks like he finally understood what he is to Gaon.

I'm not sure what their relationship is but it has impressed me so much how their relation develops, how they change each other, learn each other, test each other. How they are rationality and boundary to each other (sometimes the one that need be overstepped). How they chose each other. The actors should be honored with the best awards.

I have watched this edit before watching the drama ; by last of 2021 and I watched the drama in the beginning of 2022 now its more than a year since I watched this drama but till day I am somehow coming back not only because of jisung or jinyoung but for Kang yohan and Kim gaon. I am watching episodes randomly whenever I feel like and still I am having all those goosebumps. This drama is truly very wonderful work. In my opinion they did fall in love, not the romantic kind of love, but the kind of love that goes beyond. They care for each other, understand each other, and this last scene where they communicate only with their eyes and you can see all the love and care they have for each other, it is just amazing to watch.

It’s my thought that since the first time they met, you could see the way they look at each other and shook hands, was like something at first sight mostly for Yohan. I noticed that imperceptible I like you throughout the series. The ending was kind of sad, but it really shows the way they feel for each other, it was so beautiful.😆😙

I know this is going to make the BL fandom shriek in protest but I don’t think what is going on between these two is sexual. Ga On literally is the spitting image of Yo Han’s BROTHER. Does anyone really think he’d be sexually attracted to his brother? I do think it’s a deep love, a protective love, with maybe some other feelings thrown in like remorse & adoration….its just that Ji Sung the actor is innately sensual & sexy & it permeates everything he does. That said, I have no problem at all with a BL concept, and these 2 actors could sell it in a heartbeat. If it weren’t for the fact that everyone seems to overlook the incestual aspect, I would be boarding that ship too. Oh, I've seen it 1000 times, I've been watching it every day for three months. This edit convinced me to watch this drama. And God, they are so perfect. Perfect chemistry, perfect relationship (we all know that was the case!).
I feel their chemistry and their relationship bloomed into something really beautiful and precious. But i cant stop remembering that gaon looks like yohans brother. Beautiful edit! What they shared on screen was amazing, their chemistry was awesome the whole show. In my opinion they did fall in love, not the romantic kind of love, but the kind of love that goes beyond. They care for each other, understand each other, and this last scene where they communicate only with their eyes and you can see all the love and care they have for each other, it is just amazing to watch.
I can't get rid of these two. They're like a room with no exit.

It’s my thought that since the first time they met, you could see the way they look at each other and shook hands, was like something at first sight mostly for Yohan. I noticed that imperceptible I like you throughout the series. The ending was kind of sad, but it really shows the way they feel for each other, it was so beautiful.😆😙

I know this is going to make the BL fandom shriek in protest but I don’t think what is going on between these two is sexual. Ga On literally is the spitting image of Yo Han’s BROTHER. Does anyone really think he’d be sexually attracted to his brother? I do think it’s a deep love, a protective love, with maybe some other feelings thrown in like remorse & adoration….its just that Ji Sung the actor is innately sensual & sexy & it permeates everything he does.
That said, I have no problem at all with a BL concept, and these 2 actors could sell it in a heartbeat. If it weren’t for the fact that everyone seems to overlook the incestual aspect, I would be boarding that ship too.

I loved watching the devil judge. It’s 💯 a BL disguised as w bromance and if we’re being honest, it’s way better than most BL’s. I literally spent most of last year trying to find similar tv shows in vain.
