the holes were not even spaced out evenly.
My circles along the path dont become black dots, just circles. How do I make them filled in so the laser will purchase through the leather without scoring the path as well?
Is it possible to cut diamond shaped holes for slanted stitch?
OMG. I watched a 17 min video before this one and it was miserably unhelpful. This was PERFECT AND FAST. THANK YOU!
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Thank you!
I also offset again to make a 'trough' for the stitching to drop down into. In your case with .8mm thread, I'd select the blue line, offset again (choose 'both') set at .4mm. Set it as a layer that will only burn roughly .6-.8mm deep (offset fill). This will give you an inset thread that's much more durable and clean than thread laid out over the top of the leather. When doing leatherwork by hand, we use a tool for it.
Useful video...but the spacing of the final holes was way out at the end of the run. This would ruin the whole look of the job!
Good job, thank you for sharing this precious info!
Mah dude, Thank you. This is so much better than working a stitching iron around complicated shapes.
Really helpful video, thanks for posting
I appreciate your video sir. Thank you.
Super helpful. Much thanks.
Thanks for the video
thanks for info bro
Love this video. Thank you! I do hats out in Georgia and I have bought a sewing machine and want to start stitching my leather patches on. I have been pressing them with a HOTRONIX 360IQ hat press. What "size" thread do I need? Do you have a certain brand you use for your wallets and such?
Thanks. Great video
nice video, a question, how adjust this for corners coincidenceon both sides in non uniforms shapes_
Another great video!
Thank you for making this video
Nice, thanks for the video. Quick question, why do you need to put the first circle on the start point? is this to assure even spacing?
Because that is most likely what causes the circles to align to the path of the line.
Awesome!! What settings are you using to cut the holes? Or are you just marking them an then going over it with an awl? Thanks
the holes go all the way through ... no awls needed ... setting will vary between machines ... in my machine .. I can cut the leather at 60mm/s and 20% power
can you share your cut library please
I'm so confused. Mine won't fill the circles and just throws dots everywhere
I just figured it out in case you haven't - you have to use the Start Point Editor tool to choose your starting point, then align the hole/whatever you're copying onto that point and do copy along path.
@@RyanShuck I'll give it a shot
