Gloriett(e), in this case you don't say the e at the end, it's not a German word. 😂👍 As a child I often visited the park in Schönbrunn. There were amazing sandboxes in the shade of the chestnut trees, it was totally calm and there where also many squirrels. Unfortunately, the sand in the sandboxes is no longer playable today.
_PS: In Vienna never ever go to Starbucks, it's a sin in the city where they invented the coffee culture._
Ahh it's so beautiful there! Must have been such a nice place to play as a child! 😍 And, we didn't go to Starbucks... 😅😂 It became a running joke during our Europe trip because they we're EVERYWHERE! We couldn't go a few blocks without seeing one! ☕
@@DeanaandPhil - Yes, it was wonderful to live there at this time. Wise decision to avoid Starbucks. I have tried it three times and now I prefer every other Café in Austria.
The palace is beautiful...but the gardens are so breathtaking! I have a thing for gardens, and nature. I love how you guys give a bit of the history of the places you visit. It's something I haven't noticed a lot of travel channels doing, and I love learning about history!
YAY! We try to make it interesting when we give the facts, but it's not for everyone. Phil used to live in Vienna, so when he was telling me all the fasts and info I thought he should definitely share it. Some of the information is so interesting! And YES those gardens are amazing. 😍✨

Servas Phil! Da du eine zeitlang in Österreich gelebt hast,wollte ich fragen was deiner Meinung nach die größten Unterschiede (Mentalität) sind.Bayern zählt nicht! :P
omg, seh ich das richtig - leberkäs mit ketchup??? sakrileg - dafür wird man in bayern (zurecht) gesteinigt!!! (ich komme übrigens aus bayern ;=) )
Normal bei uns auch und vor allem wenn man es ohne kren isst
@@solidkudo4 ah, "kren" kannte ich garnicht - und ich komme aus oberbayern. vermutlich ist das eher ein wort das in niederbayern/österreicher vorkommt/kam!?
ich jedenfalls habe in real noch nie jemanden erlebt, der seinen leberkäs mit ketchup isst - ausschliesslich "nackert" oder mit senf (vorzugsweise eher süssen).

I saw a horsemeat (Pferd) option at a stand along the ring tram when I was in Vienna but I chickened out. I couldn't find it or it had gone a way a couple years later the next time I was there, three years ago.
