created a farm for food , as well we found a nether portal and a few raw ores but the ocean and a ship reck to explore and created a new mine to try and ignore the deep dark biome we found by the house and in the end we found an ancient city
we ended up just using /rtp to get a random teleport to create a new mining location .. we created a new mine and explored a little of the new mine
