I have been looking for the H2 gene structure of C57BL/6 mice. I could find that they have the haplotype b, so they are MHC-I = H-2Db, H-2Kb, H-2Lnull & MHC-II = H-2IAb, H-2IEnull. Do you know what does the null mean? Do they not have those loci? or do they have some mutations in them that make these H2 molecules not functional or unable to be expressed in the membrane? Hopefully you can help me!
