I remember in 2011 when we were writing our WAEC in the missionary school and the riot broke out across the North and Christians were being slaughtered, He took all of us that were boarders to one of his outdoor rooms and we all, boys and girls, slept there and the diocese where he lived was surrounded by Police and Military men. We were afraid that the security men would turn on us since most northerners (in this case, security men)are loyal to religion. God helped us through
Note: in this crisis, my father’s hotel was burnt down and so many other Christian infrastructures, our home were burnt down and so was my mom’s supermarket. We are alive today because of Gods grace. What saved my parents was that the day the riot broke out, my mom and sister (dad already late) came to visit me in school and thus did not meet the raging riot at home. This was the school in which this Bishop pastors.
When will Christians in Northern Nigeria start fighting back physically?

@@AmazilaTrue. The narrative that fundamentalist Fulanis want to push is that Islam is at their core but there are quite a number of Christian Fulani. In some places they are confused for Hausa Christians because like most Fulani they are multilingual and some people can't grasp "Fulani" and "Christian" together.

I grew up in Calabar and was taken there since I was 6 and that made me lost my accent. If I speak unless I tell you my tribe you will not know. He said he was taken to Jos at age 6 and he speaks like a plateau man and that confirms that he lived there for so many years.

Fulani Christians are extremely rare
Yes, but God is saving them also. From voice of the Martyrs magazines I get, the light of the gospel has entered Niger republic and the patriarch of this family received Christ and his adult sons and their wives also and some even came to Nigeria to evangelize among the Fulani community in the north. The scriptures truly say it, darkness cannot withstand light.
