👋Hey there it's Wes. If you have a project or specific woodworking question you would like answered, I can send you a personalized video. Please go to www.woodworkingwithwes.com. I would love to help out...thanks.
Beautiful and well worth the wait and those doors and drawers adds an expensive and sofisticated look. I like the paint color on it too. Great job! I love it!
Nice piece of furniture. Those reed doors give it an air of sophistication and luxury. I appreciate the accounting of your materials and what it would otherwise cost to buy it pre-made. Thanks!
That's the way I make drawers, but I screw the bottoms on. They last forever. Never saw the need to insert a bottom panel into grooves. Nice looking cabinet, Wes.
Thank you. i always watch your videos. They are concise, informational and well thought out! I'm about to build a cabinet for my garage, won't be as fancy as you show here, it's in a garage but i wasn't sure how to start,. you covered it thank you!
Hi...glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for your kind words! I have put videos up on the channel building cabinets for my garage you might want to take a look at too. I have done exactly what he is showing on the doors. It looked great for a while. However, it is in a kitchen with stuff in the air and on hands. It is next to impossible to get the little crevices around the bead clean. So now I have rebuilding the doors without the bead.
thank you sir it was the easiest way to build cabinet but not my way the nails and buttjoint make too easy and i like to build the hard way with real woodworking i enjoy watching you anyway thanks
Great looking piece! I’m a newbie so forgive me but why use the melamine instead of plywood? I assume cost? I always hate the particle board furniture and I realize this will last tons longer. Just seems to cheapen it so I assume it’s cost. Thanks for sharing all your expertise.
I’ve built furniture in driveway with table saw router and mitre saw and some clamps! With some knowledge you can do a lot with a little! Life’s what you make it!
If time isn't a concern, and you're careful about your tool purchases, this project could be done with a couple hundred bucks worth of old school hand tools.
Wes, is there any issue with glue on the melamine? I thought it doesn't stick to melamine? Looks that the headless pins are doing all the work? Thanks!

Looks great. I’m surprised how well those unglued joints seem to work. Very simple approach but a very nice cabinet. I really like it.
Great design, nicely done. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.

This was a great tutorial, as always. What species of wood did you use for the top?
Nicely Done Wes, Thanks for sharing, just curious- what grit do you use to sand down the finish on the melamine?
Nice work and beautiful cabinet! I'm curious-how did the legs/feet get their width?
Hi...the legs are the thickness of the end panel construction. Thanks for watching, Wes
And som tips to start our busines please
How wide and deep is your tablesaw countertop? Do you have a video on building this, Wes?
Hi...here is the video you are looking for. ua-cam.com/video/fpUkmGI_2No/v-deo.htmlsi=qyaBGoDYJjXbUFLG

Looks great WES 👍.... JUST WONDERING SINCE you've had that airless paint gun for awhile what are your long term thoughts on it ❓
Hi Wes, do you not do anything special when securing the solid wood top to allow for expansion and contraction? Thanks for the great videos!

Hello from Baja 🇲🇽. Is there advantage from the stapler gun vs the brad nailer? I only have the brads
Hi...the staples have additional holding power. Thanks for watching, Wes
Hi again Wes, could you please tell me more about your wife crown stapler? Or ones you would recommend? Thanks
Hi...actually it is a medium crown stapler and several models are available on Amazon. Thanks for watching, Wes
If this unit had upper cabinets how much would you charge.
Hi....for an upper cabinet of the same overall dimensions, would be an additional $1,500 to $1,800. Thanks, Wes
Wes, could you let me know the materials you used and quantity?
$300 materials . . . $15,000 shop tools

Terrible joinery! First learn something worth showing 😏
