Thank you for your very detailed and honest opinion. I am glad that you found so many interesting mechanisms and building techniques during the construction. You did a great job!🤩 The building technique you talk about in 3:30 depends more on the designer than on the brand of bricks. The way the modules are connected is the technique that I use to build my models. I always try to make the building process as satisfying and interesting as possible. Especially when it concerns, a large set that you build for about 10 hours 😄 I understand the regret with the stickers you're talking about at 6:00. Originally, this element was built entirely of bricks. However, at the stage of implementing the prototype into production, it was changed to a sticker. Unfortunately :(
@EricTrax thank you for your detailed reply! Your techniques are incredible. Somebody said it very well: your design looks very complete. Usually, with technic, there are big gaps and holes, but your designs are very clean and polished. That is too bad about the sticker, but it doesn't take away much from the model. In my opinion, it is still an extremely premium product and experience. Thank you again! I am honoured that I got a chance to build your set and that you watched my video!
This was the direction that MANY of us Technic fans wished lego went in. They instead decided to make seemingly just cars. I absolutely love the systems parts used as the body work and wish lego did the same. Eric Traxx is a legendary designer and has been around for quite some time.
@@For891 Absolutely! I'm a HUGE car fan, but I completely agree that Lego needs to make more mechanical technic sets, like this. Eric Trax did an incredible job with this one for sure!!
@@M0torsagmannen It's a super cool set tbh. It reminds of the Lego Mercedes Arocs from a while back. Just a ton of functions that work really well. 10/10 would play with

Lovely review. Very detailed video about model and available functions. I've seen other models designed by Eric Trax and all were very realistic. Cannot wait to build this harverster.
What a great set! Such a lovely box and packaging 👌🏼 All those gears though! ⚙️ 4:45 👏🏼 This was a laugh of past trauma 7:23 😂😂😂😂 I feel your pain whenever you mess a set up 😢😢lol freaking amazing set and video 👏🏼
That's very cool that it has so many motirized functions beyond just driving. And I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who struggles to connect two LEGO Technic subassemblies; it's hard enough to line up 8 pins and then do everything short of "Hulk Smash" to get them to connect.
.......when I read Dominator, this wasn't what I was expecting. However, I will say this set does dominate farming brick built sets. Also, that entire box is 🔥

Someone along the delivery process decided it was a great idea to rip open the box, take out the set and reseal it 😭😭. So sad about this because this was the first time I decided to buy an alternative brand model Anyway on a more positive note, great video! @WakeupTM ohh no way!! I'm so sorry to hear that. That really sucks. I hope that person pays for their crimes. Thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it!!
I like it (as I like CLAAS and John Deere machines :D), but it really has many functions as complicated as a real combine. Must buy it. And I hate multipart-sticker too.
@tiendq ahh yes, if you are a fan of CLAAS and John Deere you will LOVE this set! The multipurpose sticker is unfortunate, but overall it's still really amazing
After building 2 Lego Technic cars (Ferrari Daytona SP3 and Lamborghini Sian) I realised that I enjoy building those sets, but not really like displaying them; they're visually not really that pleasing... now I'm not into industrial vehicles but I have to say that this thing looks great, the colours work really well and it looks finished, something Lego Technic always lacks. That combination of technic and classic pieces, even with the motorised parts, it just works, this is how it should be done. I agree though, if they can print over multiple pieces, there is no reason to use stickers.
@@synyster7785 ohh very well said! That is the perfect word to describe it. It looks finished. I love how CaDA manages to use system and technic together to make such a clean model. Thank you for checking out the video!!
It seems the bigger wheels on this combine are an in between size between the medium and the large sized lego tractor wheels. Could you maybe do a side by side comparison?
@Grempf159 Interesting! I would have to check bricklink as I don't actually have any large lego tractor tires, at the moment. These CaDA tires are 1-1/2" wide and 3-5/8" in diameter, if that helps!
@onecleverpig thank you for checking, so converted that's 92mm diameter on the CaDA one. The large one from lego is 107mm diameter and the medium one is 81mm. So it is an in between size. Interesting
10/10 would buy for my dog if I had a dog. IF my dog were 14+ and IF my dog had opposable thumbs. I'd consider naming that technic building doggo Philippe PerkyPaws in most scenarios
Does anyone know when the JCB construction set is going to be released? I know it's not farm equipment but it's something I'm looking forward to buying. I have the red tractor CADA kit, still in the box. I did not build it yet. An idea for this combine kit? Use worm gears in some kind of tube assembly and push small birdseed or sunflower seeds up the chute and out the end. Use a 2x3 micromotor to turn the axle for it maybe. Might need to connect it to a clutch gear. Did anyone check out Eric's MOC design of a parts sorter?
