Great video! I've been waiting to see another video of the QX56. I love these different and unique SUV's!
love the suspension intro!
Great technical review. You should do more of these.
Great info love this SUV. Infiniti love the brand hope they stay true to their brand. Thank you mechanic for explaining this awesome vehicle
We certainly do have lots of these outback mate. :) Nice review, good explanation.
Yes, they are the same vehicle but there is one more change you are forgetting. We have a film coming up with the NISSAN PATROL version of this vehicle and even got a test engineer to point out the differences we are all missing. Stay tuned.
MotoManTV was that video made,
Still wating
Great Vid Motoman wouldn't happen to have one on 2005 would yah? Yes I definitely subscribed!
Well done.
Any issue with turning the wheel sharply at low speed while in 4wd, mine kind of jumps or skips and wont turn very sharp
Great review! However don't confuse the Nissan Patrol with the Infiniti QX. While they use similar chassis & powertrain, they're two very different cars.
Love this suv
Any issues I'm looking to get a 2011 we had a 08 armada it was reliable.
LOL! Infiniti is MotoMan proofed (:
Those mid mufflers are awfully heavy! Removed mine and welded in a straight pipe instead. Truck not only sounds amazing, but with a ram air intake w/cone filter and muffler deletes, I can no longer hear the kids when theyre fighting over movies so its a win-win
Oh yea!!
I dont know how much more different they can be if the Powertrain and Chassis is the same
O so this has self leveling and DSC like BMW... great
Comfortable, fast. massive towing capacity but not without design flaws...Things like peeling paint on the white ones, integrated exhaust manifold / cat which seems to have durability issues that lead to very expensive repairs, leaking valvestem seals and an oil pressure guage that doesn't register true amount remaining. Mine registered at full pressure when the crankcase was empty and threw 2 rods.
Pressure gauge and oil level are different. If you don't know that, that may be why you threw two rods. This car only shows oil pressure, not the level or amount of oil.
I’m between an used armada or QX56.. I see armada is not that very luxury and uses regular fuel and I really like it. And Infiniti is a bit more luxurious it uses premium fuel and it is beautiful, so. Any recommendations I would appreciate it.. thanks
Same here I don't know which one is a better buy a 2011 Toyota Sequoia or a 2013 Infiniti QX56.
In cases like this where the cars are so similar, the decision needs to come down the actual vehicle you are going to buy. Go with the one that has the least amount of miles and is in the best condition you can afford.
Old school technician 😝😀
I cracked up
Hello can you please help me my 2008 Infiniti just stop running. I was out and about giving out stuff to help the people after the hurricane Dorian, when I was finished I stop to the shop cut the Jeep off return back inside the Jeep trying to start it but it will not start. The lights and the radio are coming on but the Jeep will not start 💔🤦🏻♀️😢
Ale Smith is it a Jeep or an Infiniti ?...
???? Some people are so confusing. 🤔
Do you happen to know if 16 or 17" rims would fit on this vehicle?
Ours has 20" rims so you should be all good
Don't even try it unless you want your vehicle to look like a clowns car.
16’s might be a tight fit especially at the front because of the brake system assembly (disk and caliper - I don’t recall their size but they’re probably quite large). 17’s might work. But it’s going to look really weird on such a large truck. The stock 20’s already look kinda tiny.
Uh....the QX and Patrol USED to be very different cars....until Nissan dropped the Titan-sourced QX56 and started importing the Nissan Patrol and put Infiniti badges on it. Other than a Diesel engine and maybe a few interior changes, the Patrol and QX56 ARE THE SAME vehicle, and not "very different" as you so claim.
So the fact that most 2011 2014 have timing chain an cat issues cost 5000
I love this SUV, its a tank its not built to break down. NISSAN PATROL
I like MEAN GENE. I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHY HA HA HA HA
The transmissions I am scared of.
Michael King They fail?
Driving 04 qx56 with 300,000km mostly towing still going strong, original engine and tranny
@@jrgb9945 no,
mine failed at 130,000KM 2014 QX80 never towing anything, always serviced at the dealership.
No Infiniti QX 56
My God that would be so expensive to maintain... but I guess it doesn’t matter if you have the money to buy one of these new, but to the posers who have to buy them used ... I feel sorry for them :/
This car is really a piece of shit , parts are super super expensive and the engine has lifer / high pressure fuel pump issues ..... Whoever designed that lifter valve bucket needs abit more engineering school....... It's mounted right onto of the cam which requires alot of work .
Lifter breaks and gets stuck y have no choice than to replace a new cam, including lifter and possible HP fuel pump costing over $6000 In parts a labor 🤦
