The production level on this video is outrageous, get this man to a Cannes film festival and Houghton. Any hints on who's zooming in for the next ep???
Loving this series! Could add a midi controller with a load of knobs so as to have a few more things to tweak. Also if you played with the launch quantisation and set it to 4 bars for example you could hit 1 then have 4 bars to tweak stuff to create transitions before the next scene launched.
Glad to hear that mate! Yeah ive got a beatstep for my modular which i could map some midi too, however its kinda limited so perhaps a bit of research is in order! Thats a great shout though, thanks!
Love your tutorials man! I'm working on a live set myself so it's great to see this series. In terms of recreating the transitions from the original arrangement, could you automate effects on your stems in the clip view using unlinked automation clips to free up your hands to use the Digitakt and move to the next clip etc? Then also group tracks/stems you need to mute at the same time? I've found these methods useful for building up bigger and more ambitious transitions in my performance practice in Live
Thanks mate, ah sick hopefully we can get there together ! Yeah that sounds like that might be the way forward, will defo look into this. Do you know of a tutorial about unlinked automation clips ?
Sounding sick man, highly recommend mapping stuff to the syntakt and then you can do stuff like fill trigs mapped to different effects/sends to get nice little transitions and changes etc
loop in arrange and right click highlighted section (in this case the transition) 'CONSOLIDATE TIME TO NEW SCENE'.. in fact you needn't even batch export
create an effects rack that you chuck on master that handles generic master effects and transition effects with all the necessary macros mapped to yer midi, and then you'll have plenty of knobs to twiddle even when you're just playing back stem loops
King shit 👑 loving the Casey Neistat vibes on this one
Love this, cheers mate!!

Hadnt realised you can use the syntakt as a midi controller too! Will defo check that out and look into fill trigs etc, cheers mate.

This sounds like a good way forward, thanks mate. Will be looking into this for sure next week!
