I have been in this situation before, and I agree with your premise. One thing not mentioned is that sometimes, a party is being thrown in your honor for a welcome ( in my case a pig roast) lots of alcohol and food....and Oh.... by the way you are paying. A variation on this is that 1st meeting is at a Mall restaurant and you are paying the bill for you and her , and her 6 companions. Including some guy about her age,, but don't worry,,it's just her cousin.

I did that my first visit to the Philippines the province of samar never again since then i get the girl to travel to me i won't even allow her to bring a friend, Talking to a girl online on a camera is completely different from meeting a girl in person and anyone who has experienced that will know what i mean. Guy's should get to know the girl well before going to visit family. Also don't get the girl to meet you at the airport and don't make any commitments until you know each other.
In regards to what he says about visiting the family and everyone is speaking their language, yeah, I been there and done that, but in the military. I assure you guys, that's a real uncomfortable feeling, mainly because you get paranoid and think they are talking smack about you. In the military, the cooks were mostly Filipino men. (The military back then, especially the Navy, had a long tradition of segregating billets (jobs) by race or nationality. Blacks and Filipinos always worked in the galley (kitchen). Anyway, in all the units I served there was a rule strictly enforced, Filipinos were forbidden to talk in their native tongue when on duty. At some duty stations the rule was not enforced so whenever getting chow I'd hear the Filipinos talking up a storm, in I think Tagalog (the most common Filipino language.) I never said anything, but I assure you I didn't like it. It just made me feel really uncomfortable, and got me paranoid because I thought they were saying something like this: Filipino 1: Did you spit on his burger patty? Filipino 2: Oh yeah a big greenish wad, because I have a cold coming on. Filipino 1: Did you do what I thought did to his dessert? Filipino 2: Is the bluebird blue, is a crab's a$$ watertight? Of course.
Love the advice. What do you think about the trend of city ways spreading into the province via social media? Is it even worth looking for an innocent woman anymore? or has that always been a contradiction?
I think anyone with a smart phone, including the province, is influenced by TikTok, etc. you can still meet a good woman, but a lot of people are westernized by way of their smart phone. Innocent is questionable, although there is a lot of virgins compared to another country.
@@EvelinHolmes EvelinHolmes if you meet women overseas and they don’t have jobs or even if they do have a regular job and they have a lot of expensive items and going out to expensive places there’s a high chance there’s another man or multiple men giving them money.
I absolutely agree . The situation could be quite uncomfortable. Best to simply meet someone in person by first visiting the Philippines and if in the province, gradually talking and getting to know one another with minimal pressure. I used to sing a lot and mothers were knocking on my door asking if it was their daughter I was singing to.
Excellent presentation. Liked, subscribed, and rang that bell.
Thank you
Meet mine in the province direct flight from Manila and have been married for 7 years.

Yeah, I should’ve said that but I didn’t. But yes YOU ARE PAYING 😂
Oh yeah, I would keep it to one chaperone if she insists if you’re really in love lol
My god, they throw you a party and you have to pay? That's very rude.
Lol
Only if she doesn't like you, and only a loser would allow any of that lol
