Exactly. We have to rightly divide the Word of God. Always verify who God was speaking to. Was it a Jew under the Law ( and a religious person) or was it a believer in Jesus Christ? This sorts out perfectly the beneficiaries of the New Covenant. Apostle Paul was given a Gospel for the Gentiles. He warned us in Galatians and other books NOT to mix the Law with Grace or else it becomes uneffective for Salvation...Grace! 🎉

Real faith has a new nature of new desires, not just a claim of understanding but disregard new desires, and even that criminal had the new desires, but he could not carry it out.

@@daniellim8964 I would assume you say this because you feel you have "real" faith thus alluding to the idea that you never sin but always carry out that which is good and never give into sin? Not just outward sins but your inner thoughts are perfect and holy? That is the implication of your statement .
Unsaved mormons, atheists, Muslims and the rest often desire to sin but through total human effort decide not to.
Real faith is real trust and reliance upon Jesus Christ and Him alone as the person who paid one's sin penalty and offered them eternal life as the free gift that He purchased with His blood with Zero reliance upon one's own works or performance.
Biblical Christianity is different from every false works based human merit RelIgion to include Pseudo Christianity who trust mostly in all their own self righteous works and ideas and some toss Jesus somewhere into the mix..
Believer's In Jesus know not only is He necessary, but that He is enough.

Well, Christ gave authority to the Apostles to interpret Scripture, not to His followers in general. So that's one reason why. Another reason is that per 1 Thessalonians 2:13 the Word of God is not only deposited in Scripture. It is also passed on orally between members of the Church. In Christianity we call this "Sacred Tradition".

That is why NOTHING is sugar coated about the gospel being that good, because we are NOT allowed to reduce the true standard of the law to interpret sin (1), grace is NOT a help to follow some parts of the law, but still a help to follow the principles of some of the law (2), and the resurrection life causes a new nature with new desires to move away from sin, and towards goodness, the fruit of Christian living (3), which are 3 very strong reasons why it can't be counted as sugar coated but truly that good, which self righteous people misunderstand as sugar coating.

So true, we can only choose to be one of the thieves.
Whether figuratively, or literally nailed to a cross, there is nothing we can do to save ourselves except believe on Jesus Christ in our hearts for salvation.
Jesus was nailed to a cross too, though from a position of perceived helplessness, was able to satisfy the demands of the law, overcome sin, and 3 days later, death itself.
Discipleship is separate from and begins after salvation, it can be costly and requires us to persevere!

It’s intense how a religion like Catholicism can so twist someone’s perception that they will deny a very clear promise from God. It’s almost like a curse of some sort, but I think it’s just what happens when you “study” the Bible or join a religious sect without first being saved. If you’re not saved by Christ first, there is a large window of opportunity for satan to present a false Christ to believe in instead. And once you’re in that mind space I can see how it would be hard to break out. I come from a family of Jehovah’s Witnesses so I’ve experienced it first hand. Luckily, my parents weren’t the most performative and I wasn’t indoctrinated into that cult.
This is all just my opinion!

Lord remember me when you come into your kingdom is actually an expression for the desire of reward. The thief on the cross wanted Jesus to remember him in his kingdom. He already believed in Christ for eternal life before making that statement!
    Just yesterday someone DM'ed me:
"If a nonbeliever is slandering someone for living a Christian life, and you decide to stand up for them, that is a work. If you stand to the side and say nothing to them, you did nothing. The thief on the cross stood up for Jesus and said to the other thief that Jesus has done nothing wrong but we have. The thief absolutely did a work, he stood up for Jesus. Then turned to him and asked for forgiveness."
The mental gymnastics to justify self-righteousness is impressive.
its really simple: if you never believed Jesus's promise/words when he (clearly) says that ANYONE who believes in him for eternal life, has it, you are condemned. Thanks for your videos brother Ono. God bless you all

I feel very sad for Keith Nester. I’ve never heard of him before. So I investigated and just finished listening to his wife’s video on her conversion but I’m not sure what Keith’s reasons are for his conversion, as I’ve not heard his testimony but only heard his wife’s which was given in a Catholic Church and rather engaging I must admit. As I listened to her testimony of her life’s journey with faith in God, it was very evident that she had no grounding in the Gospel of Grace or the Biblical Scriptures. She had come from a Catholic background got engaged with what seems like a Pentecostal church (which is my background too) then went back to Catholicism to follow her husband and got engaged in it too. What is apparent that all this moving back & forth from one type of faith in God to another was all being based upon her feelings and sense of what God was telling her, or ministering to her without any foundation of what God’s Word alone has to say on these matters, to check those feelings and experiences against. A common fault with so many Pentecostal/Charismatic, Christian & non Christian Church goers. If only Keith & his wife looked to and studied the scriptures alone for themselves to help them discern truth from error then they wouldn’t get caught up being deceived by following doctrines of men & demons and following church dogma & practices and being guided by their own feelings & experiences.

By believing in the Lord Jesus, you are saved by the grace of God, now and forever. This salvation is not earned through actions but is a gift received through faith. As believers, we can engage in activities like going to church, reading the Bible, and singing in choirs, not a "must" to earn our place in heaven, but as expressions of our faith and gratitude for God's grace. These activities are not requirements for salvation but are ways to live out our faith by believing, living our lives as what we are.
Even as believers, we still sin daily. If we could stop sinning completely, Jesus' sacrifice would be unnecessary. The Commandments reveal our nature as sinners, highlighting our need for the salvation that only Jesus can provide.

The difference in our faith is obvious. We follow the narrow path of faith in Christ alone. When we are baptized in water, it’s only after we have already become born again. The question is how am I saved and why. The Catholics say I need to be a Catholic, religion dose not save me. Jesus dose. It’s not ok saved cuz I’m a Christian, or Jew, or Catholic. I’m saved cuz of Jesus. The thief didn’t become a Christian, or Catholic, or whatever. We are more set on making counter videos and what not. It should not be a “once saved always saved teaching” or a “ we need works to be saved” teaching. It just be solely a Jesus teaching. These different doctrines are off putting and divides us all. Can we not just say “are you saved”. “Yes”. And why. “Jesus”.
