This was the point the series was stopped at when I first discovered it, and it was definitely the best entry at the time; the RPG combat had FINALLY been balanced well (or at least better than before, at any rate), the voice acting had improved (as well as the music choices), and the sprite animations were the best yet.
This really shows you how far Sonic RPG has come as well as how Sonic always can have a change of heart. Even when he feels compelled to want to kill someone, as seen in RPG 10, he chose to spare Seelkadoom when realizing why he was so strong to begin with and why he seemingly had endless amounts of stamina and Chaos Energy. With that out of the picture, he wouldn't be as "troublesome" as he was originally if the emeralds no longer can grant him power, due to the chant that Knuckles used to rid Seelkadoom of having and utilizing said Chaos Power.
Maybe MidNightMaren forgot but maybe he realized that it's more in-character for Sonic to behave like this. Either way, it's better that he didn't kill him.
Just a quick tip you can actually use up 4 of Shadow's chaos spear and still be able to do the overdrive no problem, and 3 Sonic spin dashes and still go into Super Form.
@@user-fr3ge6lp6p Yeah, it uses up 4, but the game still let's you go into Super Form if you've used 3 spin dashes. Same way that Shadow's overdrive uses up all of his sp, but let's you execute it with only one anyways. It's probably some sort of bug, but hey, it works.
Yeah, I remember reading it said it will use the remainder SP, not a set number, so as long as you had some left, you could use the better Overdrive, but I guess this run shows the most mistakes you can have without losing lol. Or at least the most turns you can last
How i didnt notice this fact until today about Reala? If u use normal attack he just grunts but if u use magic attack he screams like he is getting hurt
Reala was a dark souls boss of my childhood. I hated hell out of him for his insane amount of HP and badass looking versatile spells. The fact that you couldn't restore your mana wasn't helpful either.
Bruh the fight is so easy tho like just don't use any of ur mana for attacks and save it for healing and use overdrives instead of mana-consuming attacks and u're good to go XD(same with Final Fantasy Sonic this is also how I beat the guardian lol,aswell as a lot of other battles:Literally just conserve mana for healing and every battle is completely free as long as there's an overdrive counter lol. Same with MMS rpg lol)

I don't understand one thing in the powerscaling; Nights clearly stated in episode 6 that he can beat Reala up once again like the last time, since he has the sapphire which makes him stronger than Reala but then Reala claims that he now has the advantage and is confident enough to fight Nights. Then Shadow in BASE form then can land blows on Reala and fight him, although base Shadow is weaker than Super Sonic and in Episode 2 or 3, Reala did easily beat up Super Sonic. Nights with the Sapphire is stronger than Super Sonic, and yet he needs Shadow's help who is in base Form to kill Reala. Shadow in Base form also killed the Ancient beast easily, even though the Ancient beast literally almost killed Super Sonic and Nights who was using the Power of the Sapphire. Like What??! How does that even make Sense? Even Knuckles beat Shadow up in the first episode!
It's really a big waste to use both heals at the same time. Let Nights do most of the healing as he has more MP. That way you could save up some energy for Shadow to do multiple energy beams, which are very effective of course. Also, don't use the SP Outbreak when you haven't emptied all of Shadow's Special Energy moves. Remember that Yellow Dash only uses half your Super Powers and Chaos Spear really doesn't do twice the damage
