The "event" at 7:09 is my favorite Northernlion moment this month
I haven't watched this series in over 30 episodes, but it's pretty funny to hear him talking about how it's more his style to try from the beginning over and over again until he gets a great run when I remember how originally he wanted to use the shortcuts before trying from the beginning.
5:06 the first time I heard Ryan say "rock" and not make a joke about Dwayne the Rock Johnson.
I love it when he gets all serious like when the ghost comes..
What I hope to see from NL in the near future:
-Daily Spelunky
-Daily Dark Souls Invasions
-Near daily FTL
-Stop doing Isaac after episode 300 until the remake next year
-Keep up the great LLAs
Hey, Nothernlion, if you pick up an idol, the boulder will roll towards YOU, not towards any shops on the level. You can just throw up a rope next to the idol's "tantalizing altar," pick up the idol, scamper up your rope, and more often than not, the boulder will just crash into the wall.

Given the number of negative comments it's shocking his videos have such a high like ratio. Good thing to, because he plays good games and his commentary is gold.

I do believe I've been spoiled by Foxman's 45min videos while you were on the Spelunky dry-spell.

That time he didn't kill a single shopkeeper and he only managed to escape out of luck, not gaining anything and barely not dying.

I had no idea what half the words he says meant before I subscribed to his channel. Now I know what most of them mean, look at it as a way of expanding your vocabulary.

Please consider using your Temple shortcut a few times in order to get good at it. If you only reach the template once per week, you're not going to get enough practice with it. Remember all the work to unlock that shortcut?

I do enjoy Ryan's nonsensical commentaries but - I dunno - I like seeing him succeed and progress too. But yeah I totally agree. His silly quips and random jokes is the main reason we're all here.

Ryan, once you find the head you're going to die, so you might as well go nuts collecting as many crates as possible. Your demise came from the fact that you didn't have enough bombs, so spend some more time looking for those. Regardless, great run.

He doesn't look around the screen at all... Whenever you see something that he doesn't go for, it means he's only focusing on the exact opposite part of the screen and never sees it.
I just saw this. As long as it's pretty close to the graphical style of the PC Isaac (never played other than the newgrounds demo btw) i'll most likely buy it

What happened to the NL who made awesome super meat boy videos...? It's been a while since he did some decent editing to show some real progress in his game play. However, I mainly see NL videos because of his hilarious commentaries but it would be nice to see some pre recorded successful game play with post commentary like he did with super meat boy and braid. Good times...

Maybe you should start from the temple shortcut.. You haven't used it at all since you unlocked it and you can use the practice if you wanna go to hell.

Whoever Northernlion listens to can you please tell his silly ass to look up an down more often, oh and tell him to look at all corners of the screen and comprehend what's on the screen. I say this because once again the key was clear as day on the screen and then 5 seconds later Northernlion talks about needing to find the key, which would indicate he didn't see the fucking key right in front of his face
It came from PC but its very old and outdated. The 360 version looks decades newer in comparison.
