@@brian-te4xs Nice, I too love the Powder Blue tang as a favorite. So many great tangs but the Powder Blue is just so beautiful with the contrasting pattern and colors. I only have a Tomini but someday might do a Powder Blue.
@@BryznsReef I paid $300 bucks for it Bryan. She’s strong and super healthy. Feed it a lot of Nori ! Btw, get plain nori from local Asian market , i pay $13 bucks for a big bag.
Hey @philmistervvo! He actually eats everything flake frozen and pellets so you should not worry as long as you’re supplementing seaweed/algae for him too
@@BryznsReef Thanks, he eating brine shrimp. Trying to get him to eat the seaweed using the clip but i think he not eating that or dont know how to. I wonder if there a seaweed pellet out there to feed him.
@@philmister hey once again I have a tomini that doesn’t really eat my seaweed as much as my fox face and yellow tang he’s starting to decline a bit in health I ordered some veggie flakes to help supplement but I hope your tang takes to seaweed in the future
2 of my fav fish for sure. I am wanting to get a new Leopard Wrasse myself. Blue star would be awesome but I like the OG's as well. I had to put nori in a small rock with a rubber band to get my yellow to find the nori. it didn't like the clip on the side of the glass. I might try the clip again since it might know what nori is now.
My leopard is still hiding hopefully it will show up soon, this was the third one I received that finally made the shipping. My tomini is picky with the clip or my nori is not the best I’m not sure haha if I leave it in for a while they’ll eventually eat it off the clip
Hey @markcardona6882 I got him for $200, so I am assuming it was about that. My best guess is the reefer I bought him from bought multiple for free shipping and just sold them off at around the same price
My Biota yellow tang was smaller than a quarter and see through. You could see his heart beat and food travel through him. Now he/she is as big as my hand and is one of the bosses of the tank 3 years later.
Hey @pullherst he had the tang for about a week and a half and didn’t show signs of anything he sent me videos and he was quite healthy so I wasn’t worried!
A larger rectangle style Tupperware container that is short, like 2 inches or so. Fine sand is better than corse sand. I have two choats and a black leopard in qt now. I have a blue star in my main display for 4 years now.
actually picked this guy up from a local guy and he already had em in his tank for like two weeks or so not sure if this still applies but good to know
yeah I agree the babies are usually a bit transparent but since this video he has def put on the yellow can’t compare it to a true Hawaiian since I’ve never had one
What is your favorite tang?
Cool to see him happily swimming. My favorite is a powder blue. I do not have one I only have a blue hippo.
@@brian-te4xs I was actually thinking about picking one up before this guy but my tank is too small
I think a great choice especially since he is a baby.

Powder Blue Tang for favorite beauty.
Looking good 👌🏻
Baby yellow tangs are adorable 😆
I watched a biota video of all the babies eating very cute 😂
Very nice. I was able to get an Hawaiian one during COVID ! Tank looking good dude.
Thank you brother I’m excited to see mine grow! How much was it during Covid?

You need come cipro to treat the tank to kill off BJD? Iv got plenty and believe were in the same area (dallas).
Hey josh thanks for the reply, yes still in DFW but if I run into brown jelly again ill make sure to reach out to you I appreciate it

How much was the captive bred yellow tang I’ve been looking for one but says sold out everywhere
Hey @markcardona6882 I got him for $200, so I am assuming it was about that. My best guess is the reefer I bought him from bought multiple for free shipping and just sold them off at around the same price
Sad to see the prices of yellows but glad it’s making people go to tank raised! Beautiful fish congrats
Thanks I do agree with the pricing but hopefully as we can get more tank raised ones the price will eventually fall
Dude good job all of my fish doing well
Awesome tank
Thank you man ❤️
What is the name of the fish with purple color and yellow stripe near head & tail? Thx!
hey @mmh1197! the fish youre talking about is the royal gramma I belive
@@BryznsReef Hi, thanks but it is bigger than a gramma and only 2 yellow stripe 1 by the head and 1 by the tail.
I took a screen shot but can’t paste it 😕

Wow mine is a tad transparent and can kinda see the food but not the heart, how long did it take for him to color up?
@@BryznsReef It took a few months if I remember correctly. Was only transparent for a few weeks then the yellow started to get darker.
@@Lutharthegreat Glad to hear that its currently a lot lighter than my yellow assessor I think eventually it will be that same yellow 🤩
Where can I buy one!!!!! So amazing need one
Hey @angelrojas3539 I got lucky since a local reefer ordered a few and sold off the extras, hope you can find one soon!
Is yellow tang is 1.25 inch?
Yeah I would say it was about that size
No quarantine?
One of the easiest ways to kill a fish for sure to quarantine

Sorry dude my real name is Anthony balangue this is just a fan page
Do u have website wow u got excellent packaging right now by the store

Just picked up one of these. Put him directly in main display in a acc box. He will be there for a month minimum before I let him out 😊
Hope all goes well!
Just feed a good diet
Your container is to tall
thanks for the feedback @ILmachiner I cut it down yesterday to about a cm about the sand level but hes having a hard time finding the sand any tips?

If you read the instructions on biota they tell you - not to drip acclamate their fish.

The problem with captive bread yellow tanks is. They have no true yellow color they all look pale or sea thru.
