Hey man, hoping you can help me here, is there a way to stop Retroarch from resetting the config (input setting, etc.) after turning off the cab and turning it back on? I usually set up my inputs and other settings, save a new config and then quit Retroarch properly back to Nova Launcher. But if I turn off the cab and come back to it later, Retroarch always resets back to its default config and then I’d have to set the inputs all over again to play. Any help would be appreciated. 😢
Has anyone had any trouble with no sound? I just put retroarch (+ dig but haven't set it up yet) on it and added the cores , but when I try to play Super Mario there is no sound.
I just ordered my simpsons cab from Walmart for 200. Should be here tomorrow. My biggest question to you is what games only use 2 buttons plus the start button for 4 players? I want NBA jam but would have to choose between turbo, steal and shoot. Same with Blitz and anything that is coming to mind.
Same here, but the guy who made this video commented on another video showing this mod, and he was saying this has since been blocked due to a recent update.
As far as Ik the mod works I just wasn’t sure what the update did I was talking about street fighter big blue being locked out I was able to get around that to but on Simpsons it won’t let me update my cab I’m not blocked out of anything but online play retroarch has net play anyways though and Simpsons has 7differnt buttons attack jump p1,2,3,4 start and the live but if you just want to play with games that only require two buttons sunset riders is a good one but there are way to many to name

Hey, I'm struggling trying to install Retroarch on my cab. Is there a specific file i should be downloading? I'm running Windows 11 on my laptop. Should i keep it zipped or install it and then transfer it to my sd card?
Retroarch shouldn’t come zipped it’s an apk file make sure your scrolling down to android on the retroarch site and download retroarch 32bit or download the retroarch that comes with team encoders controller fix that one will actually come in a zipped file you can get that one from team encoders site
Where do you get the games? I know how to use emudeck and where the games come from for that...are those the same roms or am I looking for something else? Just got my son a Simpsons arcade and would love to put all these games on it so he can play

For dig I downloaded Aptoide apk installed it on Simpsons opened the app then typed in dig front end then downloaded the version of dig with the most number of downloads in the aptoide app then after you install nova you can restart your machine a pop up should come up just select always

I've made it to the point where RetroArch is installed, but I guess I'm not understanding what to do from here? So far I have downloaded a pacman Rom to test, and unzipped to the SD card, I can see all the files from the zip when I open the folder on the cabinet, but can't find anything in RetroArch. I know I'm doing something wrong just don't understand what. Would you be willing to make a more detailed video for how to add the Roms and things I need for gameplay to the SD card, so that I can load them with retro? Contact your manufacturer for details. You can click OK and everything is fine but it's annoying, has anyone ever seen this?

How do you map controls for an apk format game. They have their own on screen controls from the look of it. I assume you dont run apk games through retroarch, thanks
Isn’t every emulator you play or side load an apk? Like retroarch is an apk, duck station is an apk, they are all pretty much exactly the same but if your trying to map something like flappy bird you can’t
I dl'd mam4droid and the ROMs from the links in the description, for some reason any time I try to load them using any core on RetroArch or even mame4droid, none seem to work, some u come up with a cr claim but I won't let you go past any of this, any tips for fixing this to get the mame to work?
Check the description again I tryed one game out that 2003 set and it worked but most don’t I updated it with a new rom set just now that should be a lot more compatible

Are you loading the game directly from RetroArch or from something like dig? I had that problem when using dig, it makes its own copy of the RetroArch config, you have to select an option in dig to copy the default RA config again. Other than that following the instructions in the video worked perfectly for me.
@@lobo2299 you mean dig trough retroarch download aptoide app it’s like an AppStore app install it on your Simpsons open the aptoide app on your Simpsons type in dig front end click on it then click older versions download the one with 31k downloads and it will download and install it directly on your machine that’s the one I use
Anyone else getting the system asking to upgrade again? Is there a newer four player setup version that includes the upgrade that allows bowling to work in Arcade1Up mode and stop asking for the upgrade? I am assuming if I upgrade it will wipe out everything.

My sd card isn't showing up when I go to load content. It showed up to install retroarch but not there inside retroarch. I made games folder on root of sd card & made folders inside of that for each console then put the games in zip rar format inside its console folder. Any ideas?
Did you format it to portable first? In retroarch Go to load content / storage / sd card it will be named something weird if it shows up in your settings it should show up in retroarch

You should retitle your tutorial with "Arcade1Up" in the title. When I tried searching for it I couldn't find it because you used "arcade one up" in the title instead.
I actually tryed that game when I first got it I believe It had problems idk what causes the problems most other psp games work flawlessly just play the games from the battle collection with mame,retroarch,or try ps1 ports

I loaded retroarch on my turtles in time cab and play the games off the micro sd easy as. The 4 player work around doesnt work for the turtles cab, do you know if anyone is going to do one, itd be cool to be able to use all 4 controlls.

You can format an sd to internal hit free space this expand your internal storage to what ever your sd card is but your stock games will be on the sd card so you leave that in the machine buy a usb hub and plug another sd card in for your games on the usb hub

You cant all the mk cabs are Linux they are ALOT harder to get into than these. There is a hack released by team encoder for the mk2 countercade but that’s it
As many as you want just format an sd for internal. After that I recommend hitting free space to move the “system files” to it your stock games will be on the sd card computer won’t be able to read that sd card too btw. you do that at your own risk though. for games you want to play and add use a usb hub put sd card in it format to portable so you’ll be using 2 sd cards

@@thomasarsomavitch6363 try a different open bor apk also when you launch the app it will create a folder on internal storage in that folder there will be a pak folder put your pak games there I only have one because it takes up a lot of space so be careful also there is a psp port of open bor you can play in retroarch and it will read off the sd card but some games don’t play as well in the psp port

When i open retroarch, neither my keyboard or joysticks work to navigate it, what can i do? My mouse cursor only moves but doesnt click on anything
Mouse isn’t suppose to click on anything but the keyboard should work for sure which retroarch version did you download ?

That will always come up if you have a keyboard plugged in
Mabey it might be without the keyboard to? But it’s fine it comes up every day on mine there’s no real problem

It works just connect to Wi-Fi and update your cab in the settings It won’t wipe anything by updating

You should retitle your tutorial with "Arcade1Up" in the title. When I tried searching for it I couldn't find it because you used "arcade one up" in the title instead.

As far as Ik mods still work fine from what I’ve heard I tryed updating mine and so have some others mine wouldn’t even update

Has anyone got the Namco Museum Battle Collection to run for PSP? I cant see anything, only hear the game running.
I actually tryed that game when I first got it I believe It had problems idk what causes the problems most other psp games work flawlessly just play the games from the battle collection with mame,retroarch,or try ps1 ports

You need a keyboard,mouse and sd card I also recommend using a usb hub for your keyboard and you can use two sd cards at once that way there’s also a controller fix that makes all four players work and here’s some other things to

I loaded retroarch on my turtles in time cab and play the games off the micro sd easy as. The 4 player work around doesnt work for the turtles cab, do you know if anyone is going to do one, itd be cool to be able to use all 4 controlls.

@@artcadefourtwenty so i actually got it working took about a dozen attempts but it loaded, it actually put the simpsons stuff in the cab lol but it doesnt matter because its working mint with all my 2003 roms all controls working , so will update my front end and tidy it all up, cheers for the help.
How do you update the directories so they don't load up and brick your internal memory
You can format an sd to internal hit free space this expand your internal storage to what ever your sd card is but your stock games will be on the sd card so you leave that in the machine buy a usb hub and plug another sd card in for your games on the usb hub
And I don’t think that is an issue either unless you want to run a lot of cores

You cant all the mk cabs are Linux they are ALOT harder to get into than these. There is a hack released by team encoder for the mk2 countercade but that’s it

As many as you want just format an sd for internal. After that I recommend hitting free space to move the “system files” to it your stock games will be on the sd card computer won’t be able to read that sd card too btw. you do that at your own risk though. for games you want to play and add use a usb hub put sd card in it format to portable so you’ll be using 2 sd cards

@@thomasarsomavitch6363 try a different open bor apk also when you launch the app it will create a folder on internal storage in that folder there will be a pak folder put your pak games there I only have one because it takes up a lot of space so be careful also there is a psp port of open bor you can play in retroarch and it will read off the sd card but some games don’t play as well in the psp port
