I don't know how Nintendo ever abandons the hybrid console system now. If we get a sequel, it should be a more powerful hybrid system with a dock that further enhances the home-console piece of the experience.
I only really play dock mode and I don't like the joy cons, so home console. Maybe I would play the portable mode more if it felt nicer and the joy cons were better, but probably not.
This is Nintendo we're talking about, it wouldn't suprise me if their next console was a watch you control by running and punching. Also, tell your Uncle to pop Mystical Ninja on the 64 emulator.
I don't see us getting a Switch 2 after Nintendo made a Sequel to console we all know what happened *cough* Wii U *cough* But I could see them sticking with the Hybrid concept for future consoles.
I can agree to almost every point EXCEPT for the Left Joy-Con's D-Pad. The Joy-Cons are meant to be modular pieces that can act as individual controllers with one stick, four face buttons and two bumpers when split up. So, yeah, from the perspective of the single user of one, it makes no sense for it to have the shape it already has. But it makes zero sense to change this design if one of its main selling points, be that immediate access to two-player multiplayer, is sacrificed with the change to a standard D-Pad.
Oh.. I didn't even consider that tbh lol. Maybe they can make "pro joycons" or something like that, not sure. But yeah that's a point I didn't even consider LOL
I just hope for a more powerful switch. Plays all the switch games but better like the 3ds. The CPU is so slow and needs way more ram. I just want to play TOTK at 1080p 60fps without massive frame drops.
I want the switch 2 to be backwards compatible with the previous consoles games like all the other consoles It would definitely contribute to sales I mean the only reason I bought I ps5 was for ps4 games
I'm pretty sure the next system will be like the New 3DS where it's essentially the same console that plays the same games except it's powerful enough to get its own exclusives.
I think there is a middle ground between innovation and switch 2, I think the next console is gonna be underpowered, I predict PS4/Xbox one level of hardware and not have 4K, it’s just dumb marketing gimmick, 1440p docked and 1080p handheld is appropriate. This console can be hybrid and backward compatible. The console is not only improving the switch hardware wise, but introducing a new idea, the ‘attach’ feature. In the top of the main unit, there is a slide rail for second screen, camera and VR, these can be attached portably and detached docked(expect VR attachment). The second screen have a hinge when portably, allowing experience similar to the DS, while able to separate and behave like gamepad of the Wii U. It can be used as asymmetrical multiplayer, or inventory etc. Another thing can be camera modules with a front and two rear facing camera with a microphone, used for AR experience or motion tracking. Finally a VR band so you can strip your switch like a VR headset, used for VR games. Finally, they can also have a 3D second screen so gameplay and experience will be better. The problem with the switch is over-saturated causing slower sales, releasing a new console with new feature and game that attract people to upgrade is the key here. I think they can call it ‘Nintendo Attach & Switch’ instead of Switch 2 to exaggerate this is a brand new experience that can do all the things of the switch.
I have a feeling Nintendo won't make a 1080p screen for a while. It just seems that way to me. It takes a lot of extra processing power to get full use out of, costs more to make, and people don't seem to care. I do hope at the very least it's on par with PS4/Xbox One, but I'm a bit doubtful honestly. A VR thing would be cool, something better than Labo of course lol, but I feel like they don't want to experiment with that again at least for a while
@@Kaons Oh, I think PS4 tech is good enough for portable 1080p screen, maybe game will have choice between 1080p30 or 720p60. They can also have 1080p60 or 1440p30 for docked. Why are you doubtful? I mean it’s 2013 PS4/Xbox One, not the pros, if they don’t do that, any upgrades will be pointless. Steamdeck did it and there is leaks about a t239 but I doubt they would use it on the successor, it’s just more of a side project for a more hardcore-focused hardware or implemented in the console after next generation have done
Yeah I guess that's unpopular LOL. Fair enough though, I guess I can see the appeal if I really think about it. Can allow weird stuff like left+right or up+down but I guess that'd have to be hardcoded in to be impossible
@@Kaons It's that, and I also feel like I am just better with them in harder, more precise games like, say, Celeste (Which I am currently playing with keyboard for movement and controller for grab/jump/dash, because I have similar precision issues with the Xbox360 joystick). Then again, most of the d-pads I've tried to use recently were horribly worn out (or, god forbid, the gamecube's dpad), and I grew up playing a lot of SNES games on Emulator with Keyboard, so it's probably just what I'm used to.
Way worse than Wii U in terms of naming, at least it’s we & you(family and yourself), but with the switch u your ain’t switching yourself with a different body
HELLO it is back. Obligatory question: Would you rather have a Switch 2 or a powerful home-console only system thingy?
I feel like a middle ground would be good maybe it can be called switch pro

@@Linky I agree it will likely never be abandoned, but yeah that'd be the best outcome at this point
powerful home console for sure

I can tell this guy's UA-cam channel is going to blow up soon in subscribers

He's already working on it 👀👀
could i get the hosono burger?
You truly are the one of the most if not the most underrated
Thank you
MASSIVE respect for the album in the background
One of THE live albums of all time
That was such a funny video, I watched it twice now, I know this may seem cringe and you get this a lot but you REALLY REALLY desserve more subs
Nah haha thanks so much, I really do greatly appreciate it :))

I don't think it'll be called that, but I do think the concept will remain
My dad might not be back but kaons is
Always a good day when there's a new Kaons video.
INDEED

Indeed. It's very hard to enjoy these new games when the performance is so bad.

Yeah likely, though it'll definitely be marketed more-so as a new console

They have to improve joy cons and sell an official handheld alternative, like retroflag one
For sure
This might be an unpopular opinion, but I FAR prefer the 4 buttons over any d-pad I've ever used.

I hope the next nintendo console has more personality. The switch just feels so boring and empty compared to their last generation of consoles.
Same. I agree
fun fact Nintendo have exclusive publish right to pokemon. But pokemon is NOT develop by Nintendo.
Yeah, it's still basically considered a "Nintendo" property though. Game Freak needs to step it up a bit
awesome
I feel like you really like Jimmy neutron if you know what I’m saying mr waffle croc
Everyone, something is coming fast, all of switch games at Walmart are gone. Made room for something ?.
