They often foreshadowed events of the season, like Joseph failing at the Test Of Strength, indicating he seemed strong, but would be eliminated early on.
Fun fact: there's actually 2 intros for season 6. The missing intro is only in the first episode to hide Robert's return. In the first intro Dave blows on the fire like how Robert did it in the second intro.
I like to think that, besides Robert's return, they made a big spoiler of the winner from that season, because Dave was blowing fire and was the last one in the intro
@@crismon71All-Stars made sense considering the audience would’ve known the returning chefs by now so a re-introduction wasn’t really needed and the fact in the first episode when every contestants were being brought to the location of HK, brief sequences along with the contestants ranking and season are shown on-screen.
He's using all of his abilities there. He knows he must get thousands and thousands and thousands of pieces of salmon to please the Ramsay giant and fast.
Scott's (S12 winner - 9:51) intro reflects his run on the season; the others were always targeting him but the hits never landed and he outlasted them all xD
Love these intros. Thank you for making this happen. My favorites is Season 14, 15, 17 and 18. Wish they show the behind the scenes of these intros, how it comes together, etc. 🤔🤔🤔 Show the best of charity night, steak night, family night and celebrities cooking in Hell's Kitchen, please 🙏.
I'm pretty sure it was because they lost the license to "Fire" which played for the rest of the intros (not the one in this video though, the original intro song was different)
From what I heard their license to use the song expired and when it came time to renew, the ppl of the song demanded more money for the show to use it because realistically the song was only used for broadcast use. The intros are not present in the dvd versions of the show. The show tried to overturn that by saying that the show is much more watched because ppl are streaming the show, but nothing came of it.
Season 12 is easily the best, but i like 13's just because of frank kicking sterling over, their reactions are so dramatic i just cant help but love it
The newer intros are great don’t get me wrong, they have some masterful shots and they get you pumped…. But the older ones showing everyone were goofy and fun and showed off everyone personality in a way and I do wish they would bring those back over the current.
They could've easily played off of Vegas iconography in S19. All the chefs could gamble, Marino and the sous chefs could be dealers, Gordon himself could come out of a limo and do his armfold. Alas...
These intros go hard, haha. I've even taken to naming each respective season after their intros to better remember them! Personal favorites being S13 (Gladiator), S11 (Invasion), S8 (Giant), and S12 (Noire). Like, good lord these go hard. It's also interesting to think, were movies like Transformers, Ratatouille, and Gulliver's Travels in theaters at the time of their similar-looking seasons' airing? I miss them so much. I also get mixed up with some people (like Sandra and Leigh, for some reason I get them mixed up a lot) and being able to recall what they did in the opening sequence helps the memory.
The show did a rebrand at season 17. Each seasons from there on did its own theme. Bring back former contestants, go to Vegas, etc. They even overhauled the iconic red and blue chef jackets.
I miss the intros. It was creative, and sometimes I forget who was in each season. The old intros reminded me. Can we please bring the old intro creativity back?
Can we all agree that the song Fire made these intros way better? I’m watching all the seasons from the beginning and not hearing the song anymore doesn’t feel right

6, 8 and 10
