- It's time to add some cozy cottage-style charm to my kitchen!
I'm so excited to take you along as I give my kitchen a little update with some simple and easy changes to give it a fresh new look.
In today's video I will be
Taking down the microwave over the stove and replacing it with a pot rack to hang my copper pots.
Changing out the door pulls for an easy kitchen update.
Changing out the faucet. Wait until you see the new one I got!
Changing the light fixture in the kitchen dining area.
Adding faux beams in the kitchen dining area.
I'll also be sharing how I clean my copper with just vinegar and salt and sharing a few thrift store finds that I'll be adding in the kitchen.

My husband and I did all of our renovations together. We are old now and he can no longer do this type of work. But they are my happiest memories. ❤

Love all the little updates. I have been in my home 51 years and recently was determined to improve my kitchen on a budget. So for $500.00 a cabinet maker made a custom stove hood that juts out and adds interest to a previous flat cabinet wall. Then , I got a lantern almost like yours... but my top is solid black with 4 ball finials. But it has the exact same shape and 4 candelabra bulbs like yours, for $285.00 from Wayfair., and then got a new goose neck faucet , which gave the sink a totally new look and feel for $195.00!!!!! So it feels like a new little space to me! I love it! BTW... I have a round table in dark wood with 4 black Windsor chairs. I would love adding 2 rattan ones like yours. It gives the space such a unique look. Unfortunately those are not in my budget! Although the art print was beautiful... the copper hanging pots give the space so much more dimension and subtle sparkle. Just altogether a lovely transformation on a realistic budget. Not everyone can take out a 2nd mortgage to do a complete kitchen remodel. Especially when this makeover is so charming and cozy and fresh. You did an amazing job!!!!

Love the subtle changes you made. The wicker and wooden thrifted chairs around the table draw your eyes up to the beams, which look great. Wayne definitely has some skills. The best thing I like to see in the kitchen is a man with his hands doing dishes😊. I use ketchup on my 50+ year old revere copper bottom pans and it works great. I had never tried the salt/vinegar. Will keep that in mind. As always Jenn, your decor is beautiful.

Beautiful refresh! I love everything! We have 2 sinks in our kitchen and both have copper goose neck faucets. I did copper knobs on our cabinets. Copper is so warm and pretty. I absolutely love the copper pots where your microwave was, soooo pretty! You always do a beautiful job! The beams look so nice too as does the light fixture! ❤

What great changes, so fresh and renewed❤ I love your Revere Ware pieces!!! When I left for college, in 1973, my Gram took me to the Green Stamp Store and bought me a whole set of Revere Ware, and taught me how to clean it……with salt and vinegar!!!!

I just use Copper Cleaner. They come out so shiny that way too! I love your old faucet! It would look so beautiful in our kitchen! The next time we're changing our faucet, I'll look for that. Your kitchen is so homey now! Just so warm and inviting!!
I'll have to try copper cleaner. I've always just used the salt and vinegar. The faucet is so pretty and great quality too!

Oh the dining room looks fantastic. The light and the beams! I want beams and we just might! Liked the pot rack with only 3 and then maybe a sprig of a herb or a tiny wooden measuring spoon.

We're redoing our cabinets black ( cracked pepper) and ordered copper door handles to go with it. We too took that over stove micro down. Love that faucet.

The new light fixture is everything in that area, looks so good, everything looks so good. I love the look of mixed metals in a kitchen. Moss balls would be pretty on the black candle holders for a pop of Spring. Great makeover❤
