Thanks for this video, very useful. I have a question regarding the same issue, my original display was cracked so I replaced with an refurnished original display, the funny problem is the finger censor and touch screen can't work together. It is exactly like what you shared in this video, when I connected fingerprint censor and display, touch screen function is not working, when I disconnect fingerprint censor cable, the touchscreen is back and working properly. I tried with other OEM display installed, all work just fine. I doubled it is not the iPhone but the display, do you know how to fix this issue? Thanks a lot
Hi friend, I have the exact same problem, I changed the display I bought the original, if I insert both flats the touch doesn't work, if I insert only one of them, the big one, the touch works, what should I check, it's an iPhone 8
Bro after screen replacement of iphone 8 plus my fingerprint is working fine but i am not able to click the home button, i cannot come back to home with home button Please help🙏
It is not solution, DO NOT DO THIS!!! Instead of tearing anything out from the board try to use your brain. No touch is caused by loosing ground in Touch ID FPC. All you have to do to restore touch is fold back four small tabs in Touch ID FPC.
You can Use the home button bro the home button is fully functional. One thing you going to miss is that 3d Touch. This is the way of repair now the new solution come but at that time is the solution.
Thegsmsolution yes. You mentioned that pin name is Display....Conn. They have to use PhoneBoard or ZXW to find it. Pin no. Is 14 if using ZXW. Thanks guys!
Works in some way, because 3D Touch does not work anymore. Something else could be the problem but the real solution is not to remove than pin. I think a cap or filter is burned out.
Such a bad way to repair, Breaking more things to restore functionality but this fully works my man and costs no money, you legend!

I removed the pin from the screen instead of the motherboard. Works great now (aside from 3D touch, but that's gone in iOS 14 anyway)
Thanks a lot!
Thanks for sharing
Guys the real solution is to replace the 2 capacitors that run on this line. (C5862 and C5863) I hope this helps someone.

The main issues is 3d touch. In such cases if 3d touch circuit fail then such happen. You can try this method that works in that cases.

Hi friend my iphone 8plus touch not working because of me testing LCD iPhone 7 Plus now it not working
What I can’t do?
While you use iPhone 7 plus lcd the pin inside the Connecter is bent. So insure that app pin under connector looks normal or change Lcd Connector ..
